Blue Bloods: Danny ReaganBlue Bloods spoilers tease that in the next episode of Blue Bloods, called “A New You” Danny Reagan (Donnie Wahlberg) will be confronted and Frank Reagan (Tom Selleck) and Garrett Moore (Gregory Jbara) will face off! The episode will air Friday, May 7.

Blue Bloods Spoilers – Danny Reagan Gets Into A Situation With A Man With A Phone

In the promo for the new episode, Danny gets into a situation with a man who will not give him his phone when requested. The man may be baiting Danny into a confrontation, which happens frequently in today’s world, being a sign of the distrust of law enforcement in the current culture. Blue Bloods viewers will recall there have been several situations where the Reagans and those they are close to having been injured by those who hate the thin blue line, most recently Abigail Baker (Abigail Hawk) who was beaten up while she was trying to bring in her elderly relative some groceries.

The week before Eddie Janko-Reagan (Vanessa Ray) was also attacked and she was knocked down on a sting she was working on in the last episode, “Fallen Heroes”. Also in this new episode, another case he and his partner, Detective Maria Baez (Marisa Ramirez) are working on puts a lot of pressure on them, and throughout the episode, the community will be on edge, and the Reagans will be struggling to keep the peace.

This second case will be a connection that Danny and Baez discover concerning a feud between city-sponsored hotels for homeless people and local residents, all while they are involved in another case, which is a murder investigation. Another interesting scenario that happens during this episode is that Detective Anthony Abetemarco (Steven Schirripa) will be mistaken for a Mafioso, also this is ironic – or, maybe not so ironic – since Schirripa also played a character in “The Sopranos”, namely Bobby “Bacala” Baccalieri!

Blue Bloods Spoilers – Frank Reagan And Garrett Moore Argue, Eddie Janko-Reagan Pressures Jamie Reagan Into Taking A Love Languages Quiz

Also in “A New You”, Frank and Garrett get into an argument. Garrett of course is the public information officer for the New York Police Department and in particular for the New York Police Department Commissioner’s office, meaning Frank Reagan. Garrett is usually careful concerning optics and what the public will think and strive to keep the reputation of law enforcement squeaky clean. However, this time he makes some comments publicly that bring tensions within the NYPD and they appear to be controversial enough that Frank has to step in and demand a retraction from Garrett.

Garrett may not want to issue retractions or apologize for his comments, because they obviously may be true and relevant. Just because certain factions don’t agree on them should not be a reason for Garrett to be a suck-up to any particular group, and although Frank may agree in principle, when the factions are within his department it can cause conflict that may boil over onto the streets among the cops on the beat!

This argument promises to be a historic blowup between Frank and Garrett because Garrett had talked to a local newspaper. Also during this episode, there may be a minor conflict between lovebirds Jamie Reagan (Will Estes) and Eddie when she pressures him into taking a love languages quiz. Jamie doesn’t seem the type to let pop psychologists decide how something between him and his wife as important as how they express their love to one another, and basically that is what a love language quiz is.
