Both personally and professionally, Frank has faced challenges in his high-pressure job. Add in family drama, and we know that the Police Commissioner is in need of support!
So the big question when Blue Bloods returns for its 12th season this fall: Who will make it into Reagan’s inner circle of confidants?
One clue just got released as to who will show support for the Police Commissioner this season. Find out below!
This Blue Bloods Star Just Returned To Work!
One of the most popular Blue Bloods supporting cast members just shared her return to the set on Instagram.
Abigail Hawk, who plays Baker, shared her joy in a photo taken while she’s getting ready to film.
“Today felt like the first day back to school, and I couldn’t be happier!” gushed Hawk in her Instagram caption. “#bluebloods #season12 #detectivebaker #thedreamteam #itsgotime”
Scroll through the photos that Abigal posted and you’ll see that her Blue Bloods “dream team” includes Gregory Jbara (Garrett Moore) and Robert Clohessy (Sid Gormley). That means that Frank Reagan once again will be able to rely on the trio when he faces challenges.
When Does Blue Bloods Season 12 Premiere And Who Stars?
In addition to the stars above, look for the characters of Detective Danny Reagan (Donnie Wahlberg) and Sgt. Jamie Reagan (Will Estes) to take on key roles this autumn.
Returning to its Friday night slot, Blue Bloods season 12 will air its premiere on Friday, Oct. 1 at 10 p.m. ET/PT on CBS.
Producers and writers are enthusiastic about the possible twists and turns that the show could take.
“At this point, it’s a great pleasure to write for, and in terms of logistics, we just get to take a lot of what would have to be exposition and play it with those guys, either arguing or giving each other a hard time or whatever it is,” executive producer Kevin Wade revealed to TV Insider. “It’s very useful in being able to push the stories forward as well, and we love having them with Tom [Selleck].”
Other returning cast members include Steven Schirripa as Erin’s investigator Anthony Abetamarco and Andrew Terraciano as Danny’s younger son Sean.
Fans also are hoping to see more of Jack, played by Tony Terraciano. However, Jack supposedly will be busy in college.
And last but not least, there’s the lovely Sami Gayle. Sami has shown the ups and downs of Erin’s daughter Nicky. But Blue Bloods viewers know that Nicky headed off to San Francisco to work.
Gayle’s move on the show was written in so that the actress could go to college. However, there’s still the possibility that she could return to the show in between semesters.
