Chicago Med News – Asjha Cooper’s Character In Chicago Med
Asjha Cooper, 27, is set to recur in Season 6 of the NBC medical drama as a fast rising student named Vanessa Taylor, according to TVLine.
Vanessa is described as a friendly, warm and intelligent young woman who is the youngest person in her class. She is also passionate and career-driven, and was able to get where she is by working hard consistently. She is also looking for ways to grow her career and her personal life. The character has a surprise connection to one of the show’s nurses, TVLine revealed. Sneaky clue there, but we’ll wait patiently and find out.
In the last episode that aired on Wednesday, charge nurse Maggie talked about expanding the hospital’s Emergency Department training program to meet up with the surge of nursing and medical school enrollments that’s coming in during the pandemic. It is suspected that Cooper’s character could enter the show through this storyline.

Her latest project involves a role in an upcoming episode of Amazon Prime/Blumhouse anthology series Black as Night.
