The “Dexter” star himself, Michael C. Hall, will be back on screen as his iconic character and Clyde Phillips as the showrunner since parting ways with the show at the end of Season 4.

Showtime’s “Dexter: New Blood” has teased its viewers with two key art of Michael C. Hall as the killer, Dexter, with the caption “Long Time No Spree.”
The first image shows a fierce close-up photo of Michael in winter while the second image displays his whole body showing blood on his clothes carrying a trash bag in a snowy place and his black pickup truck as his background, giving hints about what’s to come.
Along with these posters, the show released its official trailer and some photos of Dexter’s sister, Debra (Jennifer Carpenter), and his new girlfriend, who is a Chief of Police.

Different from the previous storylines of Dexter as a serial killer that hunts other criminals, the new series will focus more on the Morgan family.
“Dexter: New Blood” reveals Dexter’s whereabouts after ten years of its last season, in which viewers last saw Dexter leave Oregon as a lumberjack and his son behind carrying the guilt of his sister’s abrupt and tragic death.
The upcoming series will highlight Dexter’s determination to fight against his killer nature and how it will affect him in living his new life in a new state under a new name, Jim Lindsay.
Even if Dexter is already surrounded by new people in his new community, Dexter fans are aware of how he always carries his past with him.
Dexter – Becoming Dexter Again!
As documented by Comic Book, Michael C. Hall expressed his excitement to be able to play Dexter again, “I’m looking forward to getting back into Dexter’s shoes.”
Hall showed his enthusiasm for his comeback on the show knowing that he hasn’t worked for a very long time and he’s excited for the storyline of Dexter in a completely different context. He was also looking forward to figuring out what will happen to his iconic character.
Answers to viewers’ curiosity will be answered as “Dexter: New Blood” will premiere on Showtime this November 7.
