Ryan Seacrest will debut as host of Wheel of Fortune this fall. He didn’t beat out anyone else. Producers immediately hired him shortly after Pat Sajak announced his retirement from the popular game show. But Ryan and Vanna White are reportedly not getting along behind the scenes.

Despite their struggles, Vanna and Ryan have been filming new episodes. An insider told the Daily Mail that the two don’t “jibe” with each other’s personalities. It might take time for them to get along. Vanna is considering leaving the show.

“Vanna is retiring from the show when her contract ends, but there is a part of her that wants to walk away sooner,” an insider told the outlet. “She just doesn’t jibe with Ryan like she did with Pat, and no one really ever expected to. There is just no way that she could possibly could.”

Vanna White is currently on contract with Wheel of Fortune until 2026. She feels that she’s coming to the end of the road. Vanna understands that producers want to take the game show “in a different direction.” Producers want to attract the “younger demographic.”

Vanna understands the show needs a younger host. But that doesn’t mean she’s going to get along with him. Ryan was featured in a new promo. He promised a new season of “MORE cash, MORE prizes, and a whole lot of NEW fun!”

Some Wheel of Fortune fans feel that Ryan Seacrest’s position is only temporary. He might not be able to commit due to his busy schedule. Before witnessing his hosting skills, fans are begging for Vanna White to become the new host.

“Why didn’t they make her the host and have some beefcake dude in short shorts turning the letters?” one fan asked.

“They legit should do that for one episode. The internet would explode,” another fan responded.

Vanna White temporarily hosted Wheel of Fortune while Pat Sajak had emergency surgery in 2019.

She made it clear that she would rather turn letters. However, she hasn’t had a pay increase in 18 years. Vanna got herself a good lawyer for the contract negotiations.
