Fire Country spoilers reveal that the show is taking yet another break after returning a mere three weeks ago. However, it seems that because of March Madness, the show is taking another multiweek break.
March Madness Is Messing With Our Schedule
As the second half of March approaches, so does March madness which is rearranging the schedule for CBS shows for the next two weeks. CBS is the broadcast home of the annual NCAA basketball tournament.
The primetime coverage is causing many network shows to be pulled from the schedule and Fire Country is one of those shows.
March Madness will take over Thursday night and Friday night for the next two weeks which means there will be no new episodes or repeat episodes until April 3.
No episodes for two weeks is the bad news. However, after the break, there will be a crossover episode where Fire Country and Sheriff Country meet.

The Crossover Episode Details
On Friday, April 3 there will not be a new episode of just one show but a real crossover event instead because of the two hour crossover episode.
This will bring the cast of both shows together for a true crossover episode. There has been several shows that have had one or two character cross over but this will be a major crossover event.
The action will begin with Sheriff Country at 8/7c with a mysterious bus explosion that leaves 9 kids missing.
Sheriff Mickey Fox (Morena Baccarin) will team up with her sister, Cal Fire Division Chief Sharon Leone (Diane Farr) in a joint investigation to get to the bottom of this mystery and to locate the children.

The Crossover Continues
The story will continue in Fire Country at 9/8c as Bode Leone (Max Thieriot) and Deputy Boone (Matt Lauria) will race against time risking their lives to save the lives of the missing students.
Can Boone and Bode beat the clock and locate the innocent victims of this situation before it is too late? Will everyone survive this unexpected tragedy?
It seems that not all of the characters from both shows will appear in both hours of the crossover. “CBS’s official press release reveals that Fire Country’s Max Thieriot (Bode), Diane Farr (Sharon), and Jules Latimer (Eve) will appear in the Sheriff Country episode of the crossover, while Sheriff Country’s Morena Baccarin (Mickey), Matt Lauria (Boone), and W. Earl Brown (Wes) will appear in the Fire Country episode of the crossover.”
Can Sharon and Mickey put their differences aside and work together to save these kids? Tune in and see how the sisters work out their differences for the good of others.
