Unfortunately, an emergency situation will bring loads of drama as Edgewater’s finest try to prevent injuries and death associated with this unexpected disaster.

5 Key Takeaways

  • The flood aftermath continues to threaten Edgewater.
  • Bode takes on a bigger leadership role.
  • Mysterious firefighter CJ arrives in town.
  • Manny’s nephew Angel lands at Three Rock.

Founders Day Disaster Strikes Edgewater

In a recent interview with TV Insider, Max Thieriot, who plays Bode Leone, warned fans that the danger may not be over yet. Fans will remember at the end of Season 4 the damn broke causing a huge flood.

Bode and Jake Crawford (Jordan Calloway) found themselves in dire straits as there was no rescue available to save them.

Jake finally took a boat and went for help and they were rescued via helicopter. After Station 42 and Three Rock managed to save people and keep themselves alive as well, everyone helped Jake celebrate by attending his wedding to Violet Mitchell (Nesta Cooper). However, this could be the calm before the storm.

Bode Steps Up After The Devastation

Max told TV Insider, “I think we can definitely worry. It’s right there in town, and there’s a town event that’s taking place. And so a lot of the community is involved, and firefighters are involved, and a lot of the staples of the town and community that we’ve come to know and have met throughout the seasons.”

Speaking of Bode, Max added, “I think the big journey for him is: how can he be the person that the community can rely on? How can he help people after such a big, tragic event and so much devastation that the flood causes and the end of last season? We’ll see that they’re spread thin and they’re trying to help these other communities and deal with all this stuff, and it’s about Bode rising to the occasion and figuring out how to take some leadership and responsibility.”

Two Newcomers Shake Up Edgewater

Olivia Thirlby will be joining season 5 as a new firefighter, CJ, “a quick-witted, fiercely independent, blue-collar, decorated urban firefighter who bolted her station house and city for mysterious reasons.

“After six months on the road, trying to outrun whatever happened, and herself, fate strands her in Edgewater where she crosses paths with Bode.” Could Olivia offer some competition for Bode’s current girlfriend, Chloe Matthews (Alona Tal)?

Also, Manny Perez’s (Kevin Alejandro) nephew will become a new inmate at Three Rock. Manny doesn’t seem to be to happy about Angel (unknown actor) being there at all.

Manny will try to warn Eve Edwards (Jules Latimer) to watch about Angel. Will this boy prove his worth in the end, or is he as bad and Manny says?
