Gabriel Macht’s Harvey Specter To Return In ‘Suits’ Spinoff ‘Suits: LA’ In A Multi-Episode Arc

When ‘Suits’ started streaming on Netflix, it brought the legal thriller to a whole new audience, encouraging the show’s producers and creators to go back to the drawing board to create a spinoff show.

It is true that fans would have preferred that the boys and gals of the legal world return for another round – is 10 seasons even enough? – but it’s still great to hear that some of our old favorites will be making appearances from time to time. Plus, the new season will be led by ‘Arrow’s’ Stephen Amell, who can say no to that?

Suits Spoilers – Gabriel Macht’s Harvey Specter Lands In LA To Help Out A Friend

Gabriel Macht is ready, set and suited to reprise his role in the ‘Suits’ spinoff, and we’ve got his Instagram post to prove it. The super lawyer is known for the charismatic, mean-spirited and brash way he goes about solving his legal cases.

Per Deadline, Macht will be returning as Harvey in a three-episode arc, which will see him help out Stephen Amell’s Ted Black in a grueling court case. Macht and Harvey’s on-screen characters share the same background in that they both were former prosecutors in New York.

In a short teaser shared on Instagram, we learn that it’s Amell’s Ted Black that reaches out to Macht’s Harvey to ask for a favor as an old friend.

“When an old friend is in need…it’s time to take care of things and make those very ‘things’ right,” Macht captioned the Instagram post.

Since the show’s massive resurgence and its spinoff announcement, several of its stars have shared their hopes to one day appear in another ‘Suits’ courtroom battle.

Last we saw of Harvey, he’d traded in his career as a big shot corporate lawyer in order to join his long-time pal Mike (Patrick J. Adams) and his wife Rachel (Meghan Markle) in Seattle. But if there’s someone that can get him back into the nitty-gritty of things, it’s an old friend and a tough case to crack.

Led by ‘Suits’ creator Aaron Korsh, ‘Suits: LA’ follows Ted as he tries to keep his mysterious past in check as well as tackle cases from the biggest clients the city has to offer.
