Golden Globes Sees ‘Suits’ Stars Reunion: Spin-Off And Meghan Markle News

The Golden Globe Awards show always brings some surprises. And this year, a Suits TV show reunion on the red carpet turned heads.

Find out which Suits stars participated in the awards show. And learn everything to know about the spin-off below, including what one Suits star shared about Meghan Markle’s role.

Golden Globes Sees ‘Suits’ Stars Reunite

Suits stars sported tuxedos for their red carpet reunion at the Golden Globes Awards 2024. And two of the TV show’s cast, Patrick J. Adams and Gabriel Macht, donned matching styles after the renewed popularity of Suits turned the legal drama into a hit again, per People.

Adams and Macht wore those tuxedos for their award presentation. But Patrick confessed that it “takes a village” to make him worthy of the red carpet event.

And the Suits star stunned in a Giorgio Armani set, Omega timepiece and Christian Louboutin loafers. Adams’ wife Pretty Little Liars alum Troian Bellisario accompanied her husband in her Oscar de la Renta gown.

Meanwhile, Macht, 51, matched his Suits co-star, adding a dapper touch of a white handkerchief in his jacket pocket. And the decision to invite Adams and Macht to present an award at the Golden Globes reflects the show’s soaring popularity after streaming on Netflix.

Suits Star Stuns Fans With Return

However, beyond the reunion, Suits fans expressed excitement for news that Adams will return to the world of the legal drama. And the Suits star, 42, shared that he feels ready to “suit up” again. But Adams teased the Suits spin-off, promising that he stands ready to work with show-runner Aaron Korsh.

“We found out about — well, it’s not a revival — but a Suits spinoff. I think it’s all in early stages. But what did they say? It’s a show in the Suits universe. Like a Suits L.A.,” Adams explained.

And the Suits star shared that as soon as Korsh calls, he feels eager to return to the show. “I love the show,” gushed Adams. And he shared that he loved the character that he played and “loved working with all these people.”

But beyond the reunion that Adams and Macht staged at the Golden Globes, several cast members including Sarah Rafferty and Dulé Hill will appear at the ATX Festival taking place in Austin, Texas from May 30 to June 2 in honor of the fifth anniversary of the legal drama’s finale.

And a Los Angeles set spinoff of Suits has begun work on the early stages of development. But some feel that part of the popularity of Suits rests in the fact that the legal drama starred Meghan Markle before she became the Duchess of Sussex.

And Adams gave a hat tip to Meghan’s contributions to the show’s popularity by changing his Instagram bio. It now reads, “The guy from that show you’re watching on that app because that girl married that prince.”
