Grey’s Anatomy Spoilers: Sarah Drew Teases April And Jackson’s Closure On Upcoming Reunion

Grey’s Anatomy spoilers and updates reveals the show reunites star Jesse Williams (Jackson Avery) with fan-favorite alumnae Sarah Drew (April Kepner) on May 6’s episode titled “Look Up Child.” ABC debuted its promo trailer for Episode 14 on April 22, which showed Jackson showing up at April’s house announced on a stormy night. Its teaser photos also revealed the former lovers will be talking together over wine.

Jackson and April divorced in season 12 and in season 14 April reunited with her ex-fiance ex-fiancé, Matthew Taylor (Justin Bruening), and resigned at Grey Sloan Memorial to serve for the homeless communities in Seattle where the couple settled down. Japril fans were still hopeful for their romantic reunion with their daughter Harriet, but April married Matthew then.

April and Jackson’s last moments highlighted their healthy friendship as he said he’s happy for her(marrying Matthew). Drew left the series at the finale of season 14. She has portrayed April for nine years in the long-running medical drama.

In an interview with Entertainment Tonight, Drew said they will pick up with April still leaving nearby in Seattle “with Mathew and co-parenting Harriet with Jackson.”

As for the reason behind Jackson’s impulsive late-night visit, the actress said she can’t reveal anything about it. “but I think it’s important to realize that nothing changed in their interaction of co-parenting this child. They’ve seen one another. They’ve been co-parenting this whole time,” she said.

Although she doesn’t exactly know what the custody is between the two, at times Harriet gets to stay with her dad, Jackson. “There’s a handoff that’s happening all the time continuously throughout the pandemic,” she added and emphasized that the exes have always shared “a healthy, working, co-parenting team” relationship.

When being confronted if the upcoming reunion will pave the way for the exes’ final closure, the actress remained smiling while confessing she has a whole list of things she shouldn’t reveal, “I would love to answer that question, but I also cannot answer that question,” she teased.

“It’s just beautifully written, really beautifully written. It’s a very special episode and I think everybody will feel that it is a very special episode in so many ways,” Drew told Us Weekly. She also revealed that Eric Roberts (Robert Avery), Jackson’s dad, will also play a significant part in the upcoming episode.

Grey’s Anatomy  Spoilers – Japril’s Social Media Teasers

Drew and Jesse’s social media teasers have brought joy and excitement to their fans. She posted a behind-the-scenes photo of Williams looking shocked with the caption: “@iJesseWilliams⁩ is you all after that promo”

The actor also posted his revenge post of a screenshot of Jackson’s face when April opened the door in the promo trailer with a caption that reads “Oh sh*t wrong house” to which Drew replied, “I hate you.”

Coming back to the scene and playing with Jesse wasn’t something Drew struggled with because the two have shared so many memories together on screen. “They weren’t just imagined, they weren’t just something that you create as backstory. It’s stuff that the audience has tracked and seen, that we have played, experienced, and taken a journey through,” she explained.
