‘Grey’s Anatomy’ Star Ellen Pompeo Reveals She Has Only Watched Few Episodes Of The Show

Grey’s Anatomy” spoilers, news, and updates tease that Ellen Pompeo confessed that she has only seen a “handful” of the longest-running medical drama series.
Ellen Pompeo has played the role of Dr. Meredith Grey for over 15 years, but during one of the episodes of her podcast, Tell Me with Ellen Pompeo, she sat and talked with her guest, Martha Stewart, and revealed that she only watched a few episodes of the show.
“The few times I’ve directed, I’ve gone back and watched some old episodes. My intention is always to keep the spirit of the early days. That’s really the hard work, to try to keep that sort of DNA, which is hard but gives us a goal at least to strive for,” Pompeo explained.
During her previous interview with Insider, the 52-year-old actress mentioned that she has only viewed “six or seven episodes,” including those scenes that have gone viral on TikTok and other social media platforms.

In other news, the iconic Dr. Meredith Grey of the longest-running medical drama was captured having a quality time with her son, Eli, in Los Angeles.
Ellen Pompeo was spotted in the neighborhood of Los Feliz, sat outside a store, and blew bubbles with her son, whom she shared with her husband, Chris Ivery. She was wearing a black bonnet, a printed black sweater paired with gray sweatpants, and sneakers to complete her casual look.
Though her other two children, Stella and Sienna, were out of the picture, it was evident that the mother and son had so much fun under the sunny weather of California.

Last month, ABC announced the upcoming Season 19 of the medical drama series, and the show’s creator expressed her excitement as she will explore modern medicines and develop the storyline of its characters.

“I couldn’t be more excited that we get to keep telling the stories of Meredith, Bailey, Richard, and all of the other doctors at Grey Sloan Memorial for another season,” creator Shonda Rhimes told People.
She also acknowledged the hard work of the casts and crews, the executive producer and showrunner, Krista Vernoff, as well as the fans who keep showing love and support to the series for many years now.
