How Julie Andrews Prepares To Voice Lady Whistledown

During the episode, Kotb revealed that co-host Savannah Guthrie was a huge fan of the show, but did not realize that the voice of Lady Whistledown belonged to Andrews initially. She was, however, “mind-blown” when she figured it out.

Andrews, who is known for her starring roles in “Mary Poppins and “The Sound of Music”, then explained how she approaches the role, saying that she uses one memorable line to warm up her voice for the recording sessions.
