Law & Order Special Victims Unit/Organized Crime spoilers tease that in the next crossover event scheduled to air on May 13, Captain Olivia Benson (Mariska Hargitay) and Detective Elliot Stabler (Christopher Meloni) will again team up to solve a crime. It would seem that there is more to Olivia’s late brother Simon Marsden’s (Michael Weston) death than met the eye – Richard Wheatley (Dylan McDermott) and his organization may have been involved!
Simon Marsden Had Drug Problems But Had Assured His Half-Sister He Was Clean Prior To His Death
Longtime Law & Order: SVU viewers will recall that after years of estrangement, Olivia and her half-brother Simon finally reconnected and reconciled. He had some drug problems but had assured Olivia that he had overcome them and was clean prior to his death from a drug overdose. Simon and Olivia were to have met for a meal and he didn’t show up. She had been unable to reach him and as revealed in the last episode of Organized Crime, where she assisted Elliot’s family in an intervention, she regretted making assumptions that he had stood her up. Later, she found out he was dead from an overdose.
The two were siblings through the rape of Olivia’s mother by his father, so they were half-siblings on their father’s side. Olivia had discovered Simon and her father’s identity back in season eight of Law & Order: Special Victims Unit. But something about Simon’s sudden death has never sat right with Olivia, and she has had the feeling that there was more to the story. She suspects that Wheatley, who Elliot is investigating, and his organization may have been involved and so she recruits Elliot to help her get to the truth. Tying Simon’s death to Wheatley may be just the thing to help Elliot’s team take Wheatley down, and will give Olivia more closure about her brother’s death.
Trick-Rolled At The Moulin, Then An Inferior Product In A Failed Drug Bust
In the SVU half of the crossover, “Trick-Rolled At The Moulin”, the Special Victims Unit team is assigned to bust three con women. Their scam included drugging and robbing wealthy men, likely older ones they approach as gold diggers looking for sugar daddies. However, as Benson and Detective Katriona “Kat” Tamin (Jamie Ray Hyder) continue to investigate the scams, the case leads to some personal connections for both of the women. In addition to Christopher Meloni appearing in the SVU half of the crossover, Tamara Tunie will appear as Melinda Warner and Nicola Rossi as Lily Bustani. In the Organized Crime half of the crossover event, called “An Inferior Product”, Stabler faces consequences when a drug bust he and his team attempt fails.

Stabler’s captain, Ayanna Bell (Danielle Moné Truitt) must make difficult choices as she is forced into choosing between her family and the job. Meanwhile, their undercover plant, Gina Cappelletti, (Charlotte Sullivan) gets an unexpected visitor as she is supposed to be Richard Wheatley Jr., (Nick Creegan) otherwise known as Richie’s date but his father, Richard Wheatley Sr. wants to check her out instead! Mariska Hargitay guest stars as Olivia, and Demore Barnes guest stars as her boss, Deputy Chief Christian Garland. Showrunners are quoted as saying the plan to tie in Simon’s death on Organized Crime had been planned for over a year.
