Apparently the former winner slipped up in a recent episode and cursed during a live show, and it did not go unnoticed. Diehard Jeopardy! fans took to social media to express their disgust with the actress’ lack of respect for the gameshow podium.
Lisa Ann Walter is actually an actress and that’s how she found her way to the Jeopardy! stage in 2023. Walter appeared in some big name movies since the early 2000’s like Bruce Almighty, Shall We Dance, The Parent Trap, War Of The Worlds, and Diary Of A Wimpy Kid. She’s also currently starring in the popular series Abbott Elementary.
Celebrity Jeopardy’s Wild Episode This Week
In 2023 the actress competed in Celebrity Jeopardy! and was crowned the champion. This week Walter is back competing on the Jeopardy stage for the 2026 Tournament Of Champions and she made a big faux pas. Walter was struggling with solving a puzzle and let out a curse word on live television.
According to a report from People Magazine, “Walter had already been down -200 points when she answered clue 21 wrong, bringing her score down even further and prompting her to say, “What the hell?” A few laughs and gasps could be heard from the audience in response to her outburst.”

In the end, Lisa Ann Walter was eliminated from the competition so we don’t have to worry about her dropping any more crazy H-Bomb’s on the Jeopardy! stage.
One of the reasons Jeopardy! is so iconic and has withstood the test of time is because of the fact that it’s a live show, and nothing has changed in decades.
Contestants are so happy to be there that they don’t even consider going rogue and off script, just being on Jeopardy! stage is considered a priveledge.
Viewers were quick to discuss Lisa Ann Walter cursing after the show aired. Some fans were horrified that she dared disrespect the Jeopardy! stage like that. But, others found it hilarious and thought the actress was a breath of fresh air.
