Lisa Rinna Horrifies In TV Return After Real Housewives Exit

Lisa Rinna – Plays Sinister Modeling Agent On AHS

Hulu has given Lisa Rinna the opportunity for a TV comeback after her exit from the Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills (RHOBH). And the Days Of Our Lives alum portrays a sinister modeling agent in the streaming platform’s new season of American Horror Stories (AHS). Spoilers reveal Rinna featuring in the four-part American Horror Stories 2023 event, according to E News.

The Days Of Our Lives alum stars in an episode titled Tapeworm. And Rinna, 60, plays a scary modeling agent who serves as a mentor to “an up-and-coming model who will stop at nothing in her hunger for success,” according to spoilers.

But Lisa’s character also seems to channel Tyra Banks. For instance, Rinna’s character tells her client, “Smize for the camera, sweetie.” And that client, portrayed by Laura Kariuki, tries a concerning weight loss treatment.

In a scary response to that weight loss treatment, the client fears that a “monster inside” of her lurks. However, Rinna’s character demands to know a key question. “But are you hungry?” she asks. Other episodes in the sneak peek include “Bestie,” “Daphne” and “Organ.”

Lisa Rinna – Reveals RHOBH Exit Reason

The Days Of Our Lives alum comes back to TV less than a year after she quit RHOBH. And in her departure announcement, Lisa shared, “This is the longest job I have held in my 35 year career.” Rinna expressed her gratitude to “everyone at Bravo and all those involved in the series. It has been a fun eight-year run and I am excited for what is to come!”

However, after she departed, the Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills star explained why she exited after eight reality TV seasons. And she clarified, “The way the fan base reacts to the show now is not how it was when I first started. I mean, we were getting death threats. Some of the most horrible things I’ve ever seen in print in my life, and it’s a reality show! It’s a stupid show!”

And those experiences made the Days Of Our Lives alum decide the time had come to depart. But Rinna also questioned “how much longer that can exist in the zeitgeist, to be honest with you. I think the world itself has gotten so volatile that the response doesn’t match what we’re doing.” And she added, “I didn’t want to live like that [because that’s not] healthy.”
