Law & Order Spoilers – To Return After 11 Years
Fans may recall that Law & Order debuted in 1990 and ran for 20 seasons before it went off the air. The upcoming season comes 11 years after its last episode aired in 2010. The TV series creator, Dick Wolf is excited because one of his dreams will finally come true.
“There are very few things in life that are literally dreams come true. This is mine,” he said. Wolf also created the hit spinoffs Law & Order: Special Victims Unit and Law & Order: Organized Crime.

Susan Rovner, Chairman for Entertainment Content at NBCUniversal Television and Streaming is looking forward to working with Wolf on the newest season of the show. It’s wonderful news not only for NBC but for the fans of the show as well.
Rovner added that Law & Order is a popular and iconic series in television history. She considers the idea of getting the chance to continue the show’s legacy and working with no other than Dick Wolf as “exhilarating.”
Law & Order received more than 50 Emmy nominations and won the Outstanding Drama Series category back in 1997. It’s one of the longest-running dramas in TV history. Its spinoff Law & Order: Special Victims Unit is currently in its 23rd season and holds the longest-running scripted live-action TV series.
Law & Order Spoilers – Will the Original Cast Members Return?
Now, fans are wondering who among the beloved cast members will reprise their roles. Will Sam Waterson or Chris Noth be coming back? Other cast members include the late Jerry Orbach, Jesse L. Martin, S. Epatha Merkerson, and Benjamin Bratt. Fans have to stay tuned since NBC plans to release this news at a later date.
There’s no news as to when Law & Order Season 21 is expected to air. For now, viewers can enjoy watching old episodes on Peacock.
