NCIS: Hawaii’s Spoilers – Tori Anderson Claims The Show’s Moral Code Is Its Success Factor

“NCIS: Hawaii” star Tori Anderson who plays Special Agent Kate Whistler from the Defense Intelligence Agency has recently talked with Looper and revealed that the show’s success, currently in its 19th season, all boils down to its moral code.

“It’s really well-written characters who want to leave the world a better place. It’s a team environment, and that’s such an amazing thing to bring in, especially on the islands of Hawaii, is this feeling of “ohana” [family], and that’s so important to the culture here,” she explained.

“I love the scenes where we’re all together because there’s no ego on this cast at all. So, when we all get in a room together, sometimes it’s hard to focus on the work because we all have so much fun together,” she said, referring to the “ohana” culture in the set.

Tori likened “NCIS” and “NCIS: Hawaii” to a great marriage with a “very exciting high-paced show, but with good three-dimensional characters.”
