NCIS: Los Angeles Spoilers – Why Didn’t Grisha Callen Go Home To Anna Kolcheck?
NCIS: Los Angeles fans were upset that Callen didn’t go home to Anna, when she asked if she could go back to their home where they had been living together. He said she could, but his interests seemed to be with his ex-fiancée, CIA Agent Joelle Taylor (Elizabeth Bogush). He sat all night in the hospital chair in her room and slept there.
That could seem a bit extreme considering he is engaged to Anna, but then, Anna had offered herself as bait in order to rescue Joelle, so Anna didn’t appear nearly so bothered by it as the fans! Anna had a rough time and was roughed up a little, but for Joelle, her whole life has changed and she isn’t even sure she will have a career anymore.
She lost one of her legs in addition to a finger! Perhaps that may be the reason Callen is staying close to Joelle, because she needs emotional and psychological support and he wants to be there for her for that reason, not because he wants to go back with her romantically! Yet, viewers were shocked by that ending after weeks of looking for his beloved Anna! Many are absolutely angry at Callen and feel he should have left Joelle where she was in the hospital after learning she survived, and gone back home to Anna! Some didn’t even think he should have gone to the hospital at all!
NCIS: Los Angeles Spoilers – Fans Complained About The “Horrible Ending”

Fans complained about the “horrible ending” on social media, and seemed obsessed with the fact that Callen apparently does not love Anna or he wouldn’t care about Joelle! They are sure that because of Anna’s deceptions to Callen regarding her “mission” that she had to be rescued from is the reason that he didn’t spend time with her instead of the much more seriously injured Joelle. Others really, really hoped that he went and made up with Anna and had a romantic evening while Joelle was in surgery and asked Anna’s permission to see Joelle in the hospital. Really? Why would Anna risk her life to save Joelle’s then if Joelle was a threat to her and Callen’s relationship?
Other NCIS tweeted out their anger in ways that could only be described as the deflection of a woman scorned by a cheating man onto the television characters of Callen regarding his actions towards Joelle!
They seem to forget that before Anna risked her life to save Joelle, Joelle had risked her life to save Anna’s, and that all three of them appear to care about each other, and no one saw Anna and Joelle fighting over Callen! If Anna hadn’t needed to get some rest herself and recover from her trauma – which her father Arkady Kolcheck (Vyto Ruginis) was going to see to – she may have been at the hospital with Callen supporting Joelle! It would seem that the fans may be making much ado about nothing!
