NCIS: Los Angeles Spoilers: Will Someone Die On NCIS LA That Will Break Callen?

NCIS Los Angeles spoilers tease that someone could die in an upcoming episode of NCIS Los Angeles that would absolutely break Grisha “G” Callen (Chris O’Donnell)!

NCIS Los Angeles Spoilers – Callen Ran Right Into One Girlfriend Trying To Save Another Former Girlfriend

NCIS Los Angeles viewers will recall in the most recent episode that Callen had thought that his current girlfriend, Anna Kolcheck (Bar Paly) had been busy with altruistic endeavors, specifically helping rebuild a community. However, when Callen didn’t hear from Anna after a certain period of time, he became concerned both that their relationship could be in trouble and if not that, that Anna herself was!

So he travelled to the location where the rebuilding was to be done, and the people there didn’t even know about such a project. Then he knew there was something off! In addition, Callen had been suspected of being a Russian mole and had attracted the unwarranted attention of Department of Justice Special Agent Effie Carlson (Nicki Micheaux). NCIS Operations Manager en absentia Henrietta “Hetty” Lange (Linda Hunt) in the meanwhile had sent the team a coded message about a major threat and once it was cracked it lead to a bunch of dead CIA ops in a warehouse.

It was tied into the Russian operation as well. Callen and Special Agent Devin Rountree (Caleb Castille) had tracked the Russian operatives to a remote cabin, where with a binoculars, Callen saw an unexpected sight; Anna, her ex-boyfriend Maksim Myshkin (Alex Portenko) and a few other goons from the FSB (Russia’s Federal Security Bureau). Once Callen was able to get Anna alone, he had more than a few questions for her and not all spy business related!

NCIS Los Angeles Spoilers – Anna Kolcheck Explains Herself, Then Callen Receives A Special Package

Anna has a lot of explaining to do, and she apologizes for not telling Callen the truth and for keeping him out of the loop. She was trying to protect him, and told him she had received death threats not only regarding him, but also her father Arkady Kolcheck (Vyto Ruginis). The very dangerous Russian spy Katya Vitkoya (Jana Kolesarova) had reappeared after falling off the radar in previous NCIS Los Angeles episodes. Viewers will recall that Anna had been working undercover in prison and she and Katya had escaped together, after which Katya disappeared. Anna knew that Katya would come after both her and her father, and Callen, and so she made up the cover story of helping rebuild a community so she could get out of town and assess the danger.

It was theorized that Katya claimed she wanted to defect and resettle in the United States, and the dead CIA officers in the warehouse were watching her. Katya likely killed them. Since Russia wanted their rogue agent back – not Callen, but Katya – Anna joined forces with the FSB team to hunt Katya down. Then Katya contacted Anna via a burner phone and using a program to disguise her voice, told her she had CIA Officer Joelle Taylor (Elizabeth Bogush). Longtime NCIS Los Angeles viewers will recall Callen had dated Joelle too, in the past. Katya had offered to trade Joelle’s location for Anna – and Anna had agreed.

But then Maksim turned on her, because they didn’t want Katya back, they wanted her dead! So now NCIS and Anna join forces with the DOJ team to find Joelle. They knew from the video sent from Katya that Joelle was in bad shape – but at the end of the episode Callen received a package that had been delivered to the LAPD via courier. Inside was a burner phone – and Joelle’s severed finger! A message on the burner phone warned to follow the rules Katya had laid down or next time the package would be larger!

NCIS Los Angeles Spoilers – Whose Death Would Break Callen?

Viewers know that Callen was going to propose marriage to Anna, but he’s close to her father too, even though he’s usually a drunken mess. Callen still cares about Joelle as well, but of these three possible deaths in future episodes of NCIS Los Angeles, the death of Anna would be the most likely to break Callen. However, Joelle could also die as well as Arkady! What if all three of them were killed? Callen would be likely to blame himself for not being able to save them, and that would certainly break him!
