NCIS Season 18 Episode 11 Spoilers: Gibbs’ Team Is Reassigned, A Dangerous Situation and More!

Up next was Colin Jamieson. He performed “Locked Out of Heaven” by Bruno Mars for his solo and it was clear he was having fun up on the stage. He was dancing around. He was smiling and relaxed and he got lucky because Tori Kelly was literally on his list of people he wanted to perform with. He was given her for his celeb duet. The two of them talked about how Tori felt when she was just starting out on “American Idol”. She admitted she was a bundle of nerves and Colin wasn’t like that at all. He’s been confident for the most part since the beginning. Colin and Tori performed her song “Hollow” and there was a minor mishap onstage because Colin got tangled up in his mic and so Lionel gave him some advice after the performance. He told him next time to just throw the stand away. Lionel said that attitude will get him everywhere in the industry and this was important for everyone to remember. Liahona Olayan went next. She performed “Just Friends” by Audrey Mika for her solo and she showed a lot more confidence tonight than she has in the past. Liahona was one of those people that became depressed as they were filming and she was almost sent home. That time was also the last time that Liahona performed an emotional song. She’s used to more upbeat songs because she felt emotional songs were out of her comfort zone and so leave it to PJ Morton to give her one of his more emotional songs. The two of them performed his song “Say So”. And then Liahona spent the entirety of the song looking at PJ. This would normally be a drawback. But luckily it wasn’t a problem with this song because she was connecting with PJ and the audience felt it. The judges all enjoyed this duet. They said it was radio-ready and Katy also added how much she likes Liahona’s makeup tonight. The night continued with Ava August. She was the youngest person in the competition at fifteen and she performed “Drivers License” by Olivia Rodrigo for her solo. Ava’s second performance was the duet with Josh Groban. They performed “Both Sides Now” by Joni Mitchell and it had been great. It was great because they worked out most of the kinks during practice. Josh had been critical of her back then because he knew she has a unique voice and he thought she was holding herself back. And now she was putting that voice to good use.

NCIS spoilers tease that in the next episode of NCIS airing April 6, Leroy Jethro Gibbs’ (Mark Harmon) team is being reassigned while he is on suspension! The name of the episode is “Gut Punch” and it certainly sounds like it will live up to its name!

NCIS Spoilers – The Team Is Reassigned

Director Leon Vance (Rocky Carroll) explains that Gibbs’ team has overstepped bounds. Vance assigns Special Agents Timothy McGee (Sean Murray), Nicholas Torres (Wilmer Valderrama) and Eleanor “Ellie” Bishop (Emily Wickersham) to COVID compliance duty at a foreign affairs summit where they will be working with other agents. Apparently the rest of the squad, consisting of Forensic Technician Kasie Hines (Diona Reasonover) and Coroner Jimmy Palmer (Brian Dietzen) stay back at NCIS headquarters.

Bishop, Torres, and McGee work with Ronnie (Victoria Platt), who first appeared in the season premiere, tells them “grab your gear” in the promo and yes, it’s so strange to hear someone other than Gibbs say that to these agents. Her team includes NCIS Special Agent Dale Sawyer (Zane Holtz), who previously appeared in Season 10’s “Squall” as another character, a petty officer.

While working with them, they also discover a link to another NCIS team’s murder case. As usual, they end up in a dangerous situation, although probably no more dangerous than the last one, which ended with Gibbs being suspended and now them reassigned. NCIS viewers will recall that a dogfighting operation had been discovered, with Torres and Kasie caring for one of the dogs they rescued in the NCIS forensic lab. Gibbs wound up adopting the dog after going ballistic on the man who caused that dog’s injuries and the deaths of several others.

“Gut Punch” – Vance assigns McGee, Torres and Bishop to COVID compliance duty at a foreign affairs summit, where they discover a link to another NCIS team’s murder case, on NCIS, Tuesday, April 6 (8:00-9:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network. Rocky Carroll directed the episode. Pam Dawber guest stars as investigative journalist Marcie Warren. NCIS Spoilers – Mark Harmon Works With His Real Life Wife Pam Dawber Starting In This Episode

This is also the episode that introduces Pam Dawber, formerly Mindy of “Mork and Mindy” and also known as the older sister in “My Sister Sam” as investigative reporter Marcie Warren. This is the first of four episodes she will appear in, and she is the real life wife of Mark Harmon, who of course plays Gibbs. Gibbs and Marcie strike up a friendship at a diner that Gibbs frequents but it is unclear if the relationship will go any farther than a friendship, or if Gibbs and Marcie might be investigating anything together. Gibbs’ suspension will last at least through the end of the current season of NCIS, and renewals have not yet been announced by CBS.

The NCIS team will also be working with the reassignment team, although we do know that there will possibly be a funeral in one of the remaining shows that Gibbs will attend, thanks to an on-set photo that Wilmer Valderrama posted on his Instagram account recently. The team was all dressed in black or dark gray and the photo was taken in an outside setting. Upcoming episodes are titled “Sangre” and “Misconduct” although synopses were not yet available as of this writing, nor their airdates. However, the word “sangre” is the Spanish word for blood, so that sounds like there will be a bloody murder investigation – but then, most every NCIS episode has had one of those or even worse!

Stay tuned to NCIS, and keep checking NCIS spoilers frequently for all the latest news, updates and developments!
