NCIS Season 18 Episode 12 Spoilers: Director Leon Vance Reconsidering Leroy Gibbs’ Suspension?

NCIS Season 18 Episode 12 Spoilers: Director Leon Vance Reconsidering Leroy Gibbs' Suspension?NCIS spoilers tease that NCIS Director Leon Vance (Rocky Carroll) might be reconsidering Leroy Jethro Gibbs’ (Mark Harmon) suspension in the next new episode of NCIS.

NCIS Spoilers – Leroy Jethro Gibbs Was Suspended After He Went Ballistic On A Dog Abuser

NCIS viewers will recall how Gibbs was indefinitely suspended after he went ballistic on a dog abuser. He had pulled a cage out of a pond that had dead dogs in it who had been used for dogfighting, and he would have killed the dogfighter had he not been pulled off of him! Vance had no choice but to suspend him because he had obviously gone off the mark. The episode, which was to have aired on Tuesday, April 20 called “Sangre” is now airing instead on Tuesday, April 27.

The episode that was supposed to air on Tuesday, April 27, called “Misconduct” will air on Tuesday, May 4. New photos from the two episodes indicate that he will still play an important part in this case in spite of currently not being the NCIS team leader. Mark Harmon has indicated in other articles that he will be a part of NCIS’s next season, recently renewed, and will not be leaving the show.

The team, or at least three of them, were working with a different team on the last episode but it looks like on this one they will be back with Gibbs, or at least informally back with Gibbs. The three, Special Agents Timothy McGee, (Sean Murray) Nick Torres, (Wilmer Valderrama), and Eleanor “Ellie” Bishop (Emily Wickersham) were assigned “covid enforcement duty” but acted on their own, saving the life and solving a murder for the team they were assigned to, which the other team had not solved! This of course proved how invaluable the three areas agents for NCIS.

NCIS Season 18 Episode 12 Spoilers: Director Leon Vance Reconsidering Leroy Gibbs' Suspension?

NCIS Spoilers – Nick Torres Encounters His Father In “Sangre” And Leroy Jethro Gibbs Testifies In A Court Case in “Misconduct”.

Nick will encounter his father, Miguel Torres (Steven Bauer) who left when he was a child, as part of a case involving the stabbing of a Marine sergeant. Evidence from the case will lead to Miguel. This will happen in the upcoming NCIS episode “Sangre”. Photos from this episode show both Torres and McGee visiting with Gibbs privately in his home, Torres in the living room, and McGee in the basement where Gibbs again is working on a boat. In the next episode, “Misconduct” Gibbs testifies against a financial adviser who had stolen millions of dollars from his clients, all Navy personnel, while the team investigates the death of a biker killed as the result of a hit and run.

The biker presumably has ties to the Navy or Marines, putting the case into NCIS jurisdiction. In “Misconduct”, even though Gibbs is in a courtroom and Torres, McGee and Ellie are in the field, at least they are back in the field and not still on Covid enforcement duty after having lied for Gibbs about the dog abuser incident. This episode also shows Gibbs will at the very least be on call should his expertise be needed, if not leading his team out in the field full time.

Over time, as Gibbs has had a chance to work through whatever built up inside that caused him to lose control with the dog abuser, there is a good chance that eventually he’ll be back in the full good graces of Vance and the higher-ups at NCIS. On the other hand, he could just consult as needed similar to what Dr. Donald “Ducky” Mallard (David McCallum) is doing.

Stay tuned to NCIS, and keep checking NCIS spoilers frequently for all the latest news, updates and developments!
