NCIS Season 19 Spoilers – Emily Wickersham Bids Farewell To NCIS

Season 18 had an explosive ending with Bishop leaving the team and Gibb’s boat exploding. Before Bishop left, she shared a kiss with Torres (Wilmer Valderrama). Unfortunately, that’s the end of their love story.

In her Instagram post, Wickersham said that being with the show has been a “great ride.” She thanked both CBS and NCIS for having her. The actress commended the cast and the crew with whom she had the pleasure of working for nearly 8 years and 172 episodes. She expressed how lucky she was for being part of the show where she got to work with wonderful people. It’s an experience she’ll never forget.

Meanwhile, nobody knows who caused the explosion on Gibb’s boat. Fans know that he was suspended indefinitely for using excessive force against a suspect. Gibbs survived the explosion as seen in the final seconds of the season finale.

Mark Harmon has been with the show for 18 seasons and the actor was rumored to be all set to leave the show. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the network would have ended the show if Harmon decided to leave. It would seem that they may have come to an agreement since the TV series was renewed for another season.

CBS Entertainment boss Kelly Kahl revealed that the network remains unsure regarding the number of episodes Harmon will be part of in the upcoming season. The actor “may cut his schedule in half” but Kahl said that they “take it year by year” with Harmon. The Network would “love to have him as long as he wants to be here,” Kahl added.
