NCIS Spoilers: Most of the fans know that at the end of season 21, Dr. Jimmy Palmer (Brian Deitzen) and Special Agent Jessica Knight (Katrina Law) broke up. Of course the fans want to know what the deal is an fortunately for them in an interview with TV Insider, Showrunner Stephen J. Binder was willing to go all out and share details of what will become of the formerly coosome twosome.
NCIS Spoilers – Calling Dr. Player!
Dr. Palmer, like most guys, has wasted no time in moving on (well, it is months later, according to Binder.) and is now playing the field. “He’s been busy as a single man; that will make an appearance in the most inopportune time.”
However it looks like it won’t come at a good time for Agent Knight, who, at first glance looks to have her life all under control, her life and especially her new job as a REACT officer on the West Coast. But it begs the question, have they really moved on? NCIS: Well, have they?
Perhaps this is a testament to how distracted Knight is by her romantic situation, but it appears that she is going to do something in the next hostage situation that she is not supposed to. Woops.
That will let her and Jimmy have the part two of the conversation that the fans didn’t get to see in the finale. No word on if the couple will reunite or achieve closure in this meeting, but we do know that an interaction will indeed happen.
According to Binder this conversation, “Complicates but also crystallizes things. You’re forced to have thoughts because your child is sending you text every morning ‘breakup day 54, breakup day 55’ they are aware they have broken up and have not moved on.”
NCIS Spoilers – Just The Beginning
Apparently this is not the only interaction that these two will have. In spite of being exes, they also have a conversation in episode 4when WWII is about to start. The WWII arc will be shocking, but not to worry! We have forensic scientist Kasie (Diona Reasonover) saving the day ultimately.
While that’s well and good and all, it seems that the conversation that Palmer and Knight will have has huge stakes. It seems that this episode will have the characters read each the riot act as far as who and what they are to each other, what they’re going to be and what they’re not going to be.
“There’s huge stakes that can blow up and very huge stakes for these two in a completely different way.” But what does that mean, exactly? So far mum’s the word on exact details, it looks like fans will just have to tune in to see exactly what happens.
