NCIS Spoilers – Brian Dietzen Posted An On-Set Photo Of Himself, Katrina Law And Emily Wickersham
Shortly after the official CBS announcement was made that NCIS would gain a new face, Brian posted a photo of himself, Katrina and Emily Wickersham, who plays Special Agent Ellie Bishop that was taken on-set.
The NCIS actor captioned the post, writing that it was taken on a Friday morning while he was enjoying filming with his co-stars, and that if one spends his morning delivering several script pages of medical exposition, it is much easier if one has the two women as scene partners! Katrina will be recurring, meaning she will be in episodes where NCIS REACT becomes involved in cases.
NCIS REACT is a special team that is trained to handle high-risk operations daily, and Katrina’s character, Jessica Knight, is a specialist in hostage negotiations. Katrina will appear on the last two episodes of the current season of NCIS, and she has been given an option to become a series regular if the show is renewed for an additional season.
NCIS spoilers show Jessica Knight is described as married with a stay at home husband who takes care of their son while Mommy goes hunting bad guys and trying to talk them down! This comes right on the heels of the departure of Jacqueline “Jack” Sloane, played by Maria Bello when the actress left the series. Sloane, a psychologist, also tagged along on some cases where a similar type of aid was needed to diffuse dangerous situations.
NCIS Spoilers – Katrina Law Is A Veteran When It Comes To Exciting Roles
If Katrina looks familiar to viewers when she first appears as Jessica Knight, it might be because she is a veteran when it comes to similar exciting roles, many of them in other crime procedurals. She has appeared in CSI: Miami, Legend of The Seeker, and Chuck, as well as in several independent films such as Alpha Males Experiment, Lucky Numbers, Emmett’s Mark, The Learning Curve, and Bottomfeeders. She played Mira in the hit STARZ series Spartacus and Spartacus: Vengeance. She also played Nyssa Al Ghul in the CW series Arrow. She will certainly have a chance to play what she is best at as a member of NCIS REACT.
The description for the real – life NCIS REACT describes the team’s duties and training as follows: The Regional Enforcement Action Capabilities Team (REACT) supports investigations and “high-risk” enforcement operations within the United States.
Personnel are trained in diverse tactical disciplines, to include operational planning, intelligence gathering, precision marksmanship, breaching, hostage rescue, dynamic and covert entry techniques, personal security operations, and a variety of other disciplines. REACT personnel utilize a variety of specialty tools and weapons to perform their missions.
The use of REACT personnel, when necessary and appropriate, enhances the safety of the public, NCIS personnel, other law enforcement personnel, and the subjects of NCIS investigations. The REACT program promotes overall survivability and increases the probability of operational safety and success. It is a real part of the Naval Criminal Investigations Service, or NCIS, which is also a real organization.
