NCIS Spoilers: Leroy Jethro Gibbs Reunites With The Team To Honor Fallen Comrades

NCIS spoilers tease that on May 18th’s episode, called “Blown Away” suspended Special Agent In Charge Leroy Jethro Gibbs (Mark Harmon) will reunite with his team – but it’s not to lead his NCIS team, it’s at a funeral to honor fallen comrades.

NCIS Spoilers – NCIS REACT Agent Jessica Knight’s Team Was Killed

Many NCIS viewers who saw Wilmer Valderrama’s, who plays Special Agent Nicholas Torres, an Instagram post of a funeral feared it may be that of Dr. Donald “Ducky” Mallard (David McCallum). Ducky, the oldest member and oldest actor on the show only appears via Zoom or Skype when he checks in with the team or with Jethro, although that didn’t work so well in the most recent episode. Ducky had sent Jethro a tablet which he promptly hung up on them with. Jethro’s just not a technogeek! However, the team will absorb an NCIS REACT agent, Jessica Knight, played by Katrina Law.

She is the sole member of her NCIS REACT team who was killed, and that is who the funeral is for. Jessica hopes that the NCIS team will be able to bring answers, justice, and closure for her fallen team members, who by the title of the episode, would appear to have been killed in a bomb blast. Jessica will also investigate, wearing high-tech body armor. It was only recently revealed why Jessica was featured in the photo taken of the funeral scene and why she was working in concert with the NCIS team. It was obvious that a funeral was being held as all the cast were dressed in black. In addition, the shots were taken outside and it appeared to be at a cemetery.

NCIS Spoilers – There Will Be A Major, Major Season Finale

Valderrama recently teased “Entertainment Tonight” in an interview that the season finale for the current season eighteen will be a “major, major” one and fans will get the finale they deserved, after getting a not-so-great one last season due to the pandemic. He also teased that this finale will lead NCIS into the new season nineteen, NCIS having recently been renewed by CBS. There is also a possibility that the lone survivor of the NCIS REACT team, Jessica Knight may join the NCIS team in the new season.

As for Gibbs? There haven’t been any new spoiler updates as to whether Gibbs will come off suspension or not in the new season, as it hasn’t even started being filmed yet. Viewers will recall that NCIS Director Leon Vance (Rocky Carroll) was kind of forced into suspending Gibbs after he would have killed a dogfighting ring leader if his agents hadn’t pulled him off of him.

Gibbs could not be sorry for not killing the guy, then even adopted a dog, Lucy afterward, who he gave to his young friend Phineas (Jack Fisher) in the most recent episode of NCIS, citing that Lucy adopted Phineas! At least he won’t have to hire a doggie sitter if he is reinstated! Until then, he will continue to complete work on his latest boat and solve the mystery of how to get it out of his basement!
