NCIS Spoilers – And That Was A Wrap For Jack Sloane
Maria posted a goodbye to fans on her Instagram account this past December, with a sweet photo of a goodbye clinch with Harmon. She started out with comments “that’s a wrap for Jack Sloane” and wrote about how she had learned many things on her three and a half years on NCIS. Her last day was very emotional as she got attached to castmates and crew. She wrote that she learned about community and commitment, and that she enjoys process more than product.
She gave kudos to the NCIS powers that be for allowing her ample time off to stand by her partner Dominque Krenn’s while she endured cancer treatments, and had made a speech to the NCIS crew that day. She admitted that like in any business, there are a few bad apples but there were none on the NCIS set, either behind the cameras or in front of them. She described them as profoundly decent, and that they care more about each other than what is in it for them, as well as caring for the world in general. She then wrote that after eighteen years on the air she can understand why NCIS has the honor of being the most watched show in the world—she thinks the viewers feel their love. She encouraged fans to keep watching and that she felt NCIS will be on the air for years to come. She then wished well and thanked all her friends at the show and the fans.
NCIS Spoilers – Maria Bello Talks About Jethro Gibbs And Jack Sloane’s Great Love And Where She’s Headed
Maria talks about the upcoming NCIS episode airing March 2, where she and Gibbs travel together to Afghanistan to rescue a busload of schoolgirls and her old friend who was their chaperone. They suspect that the Taliban was involved in kidnapping them. She explains that Gibbs and Sloane want to do this mission together, and to answer fans’ questions about if Gibbs and Sloane are lovers, she just says that the episode will be a continuation of the great love they have for one another!
As far as what Maria’s plans are in the future, she says she has had a commitment for years to make a movie. She says it is to be called “The Woman King” and she will star with Viola Davis, of “How To Get Away With Murder” fame and many other movies and television programs. She describes the movie as being very similar to the movie “Braveheart” as far as the focus, and a historical group of over 5,000 women warriors in the 18th and 19th century African kingdom of Dahomey. Dahomey is modern day Benin, located between Togo, Nigeria, Burkina Faso, and Niger. Historically, they were involved in a war against the French, who still own Benin. They were known as the fiercest set of warriors the French had ever encountered.
We wish Maria Bello well in her future endeavors. Stay tuned to NCIS, and keep checking NCIS spoilers frequently for all the latest news, updates and developments!
