With President’s Day falling on Monday, February 17, it marks the start of a three-day holiday weekend, meaning there won’t be a fresh episode airing that evening. But don’t fret—viewers can still enjoy some screen time with a rerun.

Instead of a new episode, the network will showcase Season 22, Episode 2, titled “Foreign Bodies.” In this gripping episode, the synopsis reveals: “As Vance gears up to host diplomatic discussions with Venezuela, the team is summoned to probe the mysterious death of one of his informants.”

“Origins” Will Also Be A Rerun

The prequel, NCIS: Origins is also  set to air a rerun rather than a new episode this week, instead running an episode from November 1, 2024.

This will feature the sixth installment of Season 1 titled “Ingonito;” In this episode, Leroy Jethro Gibbs ( Austin Stowell) embarks on his first undercover mission alongside Lala Dominguez (Mariel Molino).

The storyline revolves around a deceased Navy seaman suspected of leaking classified information that could jeopardize national security. In the meantime, Lala struggled with her place on the team, and there was an unexpected development in her personal life.

When Will The Shows Be Back With New Episodes?

The exciting update is that NCIS is only taking a brief hiatus! This pause is just for the holiday weekend, and fans can look forward to new episodes returning on Monday, February 24.

Additionally, NCIS: Origins will also make its comeback with fresh episodes on that same day.

The upcoming NCIS episode, titled “Bad Blood” (Season 22, Episode 13), has an intriguing twist—its synopsis still reads “Coming Soon.” It seems CBS is keeping fans on their toes, eager to discover what unfolds when the show resumes after this short intermission.

A promotional clip for “Bad Blood” showcased the team in hot pursuit of leads, but it was the humorous exchange with Jimmy Palmer (Brian Dietzen)  that truly stood out.

Initially dismissed by the team, he suddenly declared he believed he had “cracked the case,” leaving Supervisory Special Agent Alden Parker (Gary Cole) taken aback.

This season has unfolded with a tapestry of intriguing narratives, notably Parker’s haunting visions of his deceased sister, Lily (Kensie Mills), a mystery that continues to unravel at a deliberate pace. NCIS: Origins has not yet released any details or promos on its next episode.
