NCIS: Los Angeles Ending After Season 13?

NCIS Los Angeles NCIS: Los Angeles spoilers and updates tease that showrunner R. Scott Gemmill responded to rumors that season 13 will be the show’s last season. The question if the ongoing season will be the show’s final one was raised by a concerned viewer to TVLine.

Season 13 premiered in October. Given that it’s been on the air for some time, some viewers are wondering if it’s coming to an end. Fortunately, NCIS: Los Angeles boss, Gemmill, had an answer to that same question back in April.

He explained to the publication that time that they have always considered that it may happen but he hopes that they’ll be given a heads up if ever that’s the case.

“Just so that we can go out with an episode, or a bunch of episodes, that really tie up things and send our characters into the future in a way that makes everyone happy,” Gemmill explained.

For now, he’s clear that there’s no word yet about a final season. Gemmill added that if there is someone that knows, then he hasn’t been informed.

NCIS: Los Angeles Spilers – Gerald McRaney Signs Up As Series Regular

Fans may recall that Geral McRaney was bumped up to series regular from recurring guest star. His promotion followed the departure of Barrett Foa and Renée Felice Smith in season 12. McRaney takes on the role of Admiral Hollace Kilbride while Foa played tech-consultant Eric Beale and Smith as intelligence agent Nell Jones.

Aside from McRaney, NCIS Los Angeles Season 13 also features LL Cool J as Sam Hanna, Eric Christian Olsen as Marty Deeks, Chris O’Donnell as Grisha ‘G’ Callen, Daniela Ruah as Kensi Blye, and Medalio Rahimi as Fatima Namazi.

NCIS’ Los Angeles Spoilers – Newest Spin-Off Series

While there’s no news of a final season for NCIS: Los Angeles, fans were treated with a new spin-off series called NCIS: Hawaii. The latest addition to the NCIS franchise was well received by fans. But how do NCIS: LA stars feel about it?

In a previous interview with Entertainment Tonight, Ruah and Olsen were both optimistic about the new show. Olsen was particularly excited about the location.

He said that he’d love to watch “people in paradise running around catching bad guys.” He also believes that it’s a great expansion opportunity for the franchise.

Ruah also thinks that NCIS: Hawaii is an “attractive franchise and hopes that it will do well.
