Pat Sajak said goodbye to Wheel of Fortune in June. But he’s still hosting Celebrity Wheel of Fortune this fall. ABC shared that Sajak will be returning as the host of the nighttime special.

The fifth season of Celebrity Wheel of Fortune will premiere on October 7. It will start filming later this summer. Wheel of Fortune fans were in shock over the announcement. Most fans assumed that Sajak was leaving the entire franchise.

Pat Sajak’s final episode of Wheel of Fortune ended on June 7, 2024. He was retiring from the entertainment industry. He gave his former position to the busiest man in Hollywood who is about to get busier.

Ryan Seacrest will not be part of the celebrity edition of the popular game show. Sajak has an additional year on his contract for Celebrity Wheel of Fortune. His co-host, Vanna White, will also join him for the primetime show.
