NEW “Yellowstone” Spinoff: Will Kurt Russell Join The Show?

Kurt Russell is a well-known actor with considerable experience in the Western genre. From playing Wyatt Earp in Tombstone to his most recent flick, Bone Tomahawk, Russell would fit in perfectly in the new Yellowstone spinoff.

As per reports, Kurt is currently finalizing some details to join the cast. Reports also indicated that the show is trying to ink an agreement with Michelle Pfeiffer, too.

In addition, Patrick J. Adams, from Suits, is on the list of stars the spinoff series is attempting to iron out deals with. If these three end up securing deals, the show will have a power-house cast.

NEW “Yellowstone” Spinoff: The Name, Release Date, & More

Reports reveal that the new Yellowstone spinoff was supposed to be called 2024; however, the new “tentative” title is The Madison.

The series will follow a wealthy matriarch who leaves New York with her family and moves to Montana following some tragic deaths in the family due to an airplane accident.

Production of the spinoff is set to begin this summer in Texas, New York, and Montana. If everything goes well, the show should debut sometime in 2025.

In the meantime, fans can look forward to the OG Yellowstone, as it wraps up its fifth and final season this fall. Viewers have had to wait a hot minute for the second half of the final season due to the Hollywood strikes, but it sounds like it’ll be worth the wait.

While it has been confirmed that Kevin Costner will not be returning for the show’s last hooray, Paramount+ has noted that Yellowstone’s Season 5, Part 2 will begin airing as of November 10 of this year.
