Popular E! Talk Shows Cancelled, Fans In Frenzy

E! Talk E! Daily Pop and E! Nightly Pop has been canceled and fans are not having it one bit. The two talk shows were scheduled to be ended in mid-September and early October respectively but their cancelations were sudden and without reason too. In fact, the hosts of the talk shows weren’t even consulted with before it was canceled.

E! Daily Pop was introduced in 2017 and has been on for six years while E! Nightly Pop came out the following year 2018. The hosts for E! Daily Pop are Justin Sylvester, Carissa Culiner, and Morgan Stewart, however, Morgan Stewart recently left Daily Pop to join Nightly Pop with Nina Parker and Hunter March as co-hosts.

E! Talk Shows — Reactions From The Hosts

As I said earlier, the hosts were not consulted before the cancellation of the talk shows took effect. Co-host of Nighly Pop or since it’s now official, “former co-host” Hunter March who was in the hospital getting surgery for his back took to his social media the day both talk shows were canceled, to tell his fans via video that his surgery went well and that was because he couldn’t wait to get better and go back to doing his work and putting smiles on people’s faces.

“You know, this surgery was really tough, but the one thing that kept me going was the idea that I’m getting better so I can get back to my job and make people laugh on Nightly Pop. Because that really means the world to me.” Sadly, after making the post, he learned of the cancellation of the talk show which he was doing everything in his power to get better fast and get back to. Hunter had to make another post informing his fans that the shows have been canceled. He said, “Never mind. I just found out Nightly Pop was canceled.”

One of the Nighly Pop co-hosts (former) Nina Parker has a new show on Netflix scheduled to premiere in September. Upon hearing of the cancellation of both Daily, and Nightly Pop Shows, she shared the news on her social media but made no comment about it. She’s probably speechless with the whole sudden cancellation thingy and all.

E! Talk Shows — Fans’ Reaction To The Cancellation

The EVP of Syndication Studios Tracie Wilson thanked everyone that had a hand in making sure that the talk shows E! Daily Pop and E! Nightly Pop was up and running even during the pandemic, in a note to staff. Tracie then went on to say that with the two shows coming to an end, a new one is bound to start, Tracie then revealed that a new show would be launched late October and it would be nightly.

“I want to say a huge thank you to the Daily Pop and Nightly Pop teams for their creativity and commitment, including working countless hours to keep these shows up and running through the pandemic. As we continue to focus on the future of E! and its news offerings, we are going to be launching a new show on the linear network that will air nightly beginning in late October.”

Fans refused to have it, they went wild and asked what they were supposed to be watching amid the cancellation, some didn’t mince words when stating their displeasure with the update, declaring it the worst day of their lives. Well, a fan of Nina expressed his sadness of not going to see her on the show anymore but quickly replaced it with the happiness that she has a new show coming up so he would see her there.
