Should Fire Country Manny Have Signed The NDA Agreement?

Fire Country spoilers reveal that Sharon Leone (Diane Farr) has managed to save Three Rock and to get Manny Perez (Kevin Alejandro) his freedom.

However, even though he almost died, Manny had to sign an NDA to make this happen. Unfortunately, Manny wasn’t the only one.

One man from Three Rock died before Manny got sick. Another died at another camp and no one is being held responsible.

Manny Perez Deserved Compensation

Manny was almost killed by pesticides dumped by a company that seeped into the well at Three Rock. The water has recently been tested before the dump so the company was clearly at fault.

However, what as the point in pushing them to reopen Three Rock or help Manny when they are free to keep doing the same thing?

The Company that dumped the pesticides didn’t have to admit to anything. They weren’t forced to stop dumping anything. Just like Bode said, that money was dirty just like Sharon’s stepfather’s money.

They did nothing but pay off Sharon and Manny and their forced silence. This ties their hands from helping anyone else who has been harmed.

Bode Leone Is Furious With His Mother

Bode could not believe that his mother would do this. Sharon thought she did so well by keeping Three Rock open. However, the money they got from this settlement is just as dirty as Sharon’s stepdad, who Bode has been working for but shouldn’t have.

Bode was risking his freedom working with with his step grandfather even though he saved his life in the end.

Bode got in trouble for what he is doing, however, Bode told Sharon the truth, a company that murdered people and paid her with their money to keep quiet is just as dirty as Sharon’s stepfather.

So why did Sharon agree to this? What possessed her to take a deal that would force Manny to stay quiet about his near death experience?

Oxalta, Should Be Held Accountable

Bode was simply pointing out the truth to his mother. Oxalta is not taking responsibility for anything they have done. Why should his step grandfather’s money be dirty if theirs isn’t.

Bode’s parents are always trying to tell him what is right and wrong. However, Sharon is doing a great wrong to not only Manny, but everyone who has been hurt by them.

Was Sharon wrong in taking this deal and forcing Manny to keep quiet? Should Sharon have held out for more and made sure that this didn’t happen again?

This company got by with blaming Three Rock for everything that happened. When do they take responsibility for their actions? How many will die before this happens again?
