Stephen Bishop Joins The Equalizer Cast

The EqualizerThe Equalizer spoilers and updates tease that fans will finally get to meet Robyn McCall’s (Queen Latifah) ex-husband. Stephen Bishop will guest star on the show as Dr. Miles Fulton. Bishop’s acting credits include Being Mary Jane, Greenleaf, and Imposters.

Bishop’s character is a skilled surgeon and he shares a daughter with Robyn. In the upcoming episode, which is titled Hard Money and set to air on Sunday, Robyn is forced to seek the help of her ex on an active case, which involves two women who have witnessed a robbery and are being hunted by the thieves.

Robyn McCall -Taps Ex-Husband For Help

Robyn will ask Miles to save one of the witnesses, after getting shot. She can always rely on Mile’s skills as a surgeon. But by asking for his help, she may have to come clean that she’s a vigilante by night, helping people who are in need. How well does Miles know his ex-wife? Does he also know that she used to be a government spy?

Fans know that Miles has already moved on from his relationship with Robyn. He remarried Kelly (Crystal Joy Brown), who made an appearance in season 1. She made a brief appearance with Delilah at a gas station and Robyn ran into them while she was on a mission to save a wanted mathematician.

Bishop’s character is the latest former flame that’s been introduced on the soap. Fans may recall that Marcus Dante’s (Tory Kittles) ex-wife, Vanessa (Tawny Cypress) was also featured during the first season. She helped Robyn find the NYPD detective after he got beaten and kidnapped.

The Equalizer Writes Off Chris Noth

Fans may recall that Chris Noth made his last appearance as William Bishop in the episode that aired back on January 2. Since then, six episodes have been aired and Noth was nowhere to be found.

The actor was dropped from the CBS TV series last December after two women came forward and accused him of sexual assault. The alleged incidents took place in Los Angeles and New York in 2004 and 2015, respectively.

The April 10 episode has finally revealed what happened to the actor’s alter ego in the show. Bishop was killed off after getting involved in an investigation about a flight that mysteriously went down.
