Stranger Things Cast Reunite As Season 5 Enters Production

There’s a meme going around that we’ll all be old by the time “Stranger Things 5” releases, but apparently, the production team has decided to put us all out of our misery and the series has finally entered production.

The last time we saw any new episodes from “Stranger Things” was in July 2022.

Yep, we’ve all got our eyes narrowed to recognize the characters featured in a recent pic released by Netflix to tease the coming of the 5th season.

In the black-and-white picture we see Millie Bobby Brown, Finn Wolfhard, David Harbour, Winona Ryder, Noah Schnapp, Gaten Matarazzo, Caleb McLaughlin, Sadie Sink, Joe Keery, Maya Hawke, Charlie Heaton, Natalia Dyer, Brett Gelman, Priah Ferguson, Cara Buono, Amybeth McNulty and Jamie Campbell Bower.

Alongside these easily recognizable characters is Linda Hamilton, known for her role in “Terminator,” as well as series creators Matt and Ross Duffer, aka the Duffer Brothers. A lighted number 5 is seen at one side of the room.

At the moment, Netflix is still lovingly clinging on to the details of the upcoming season, so much so, we still don’t know when it will release.

The synopsis reads: “In 1980s Indiana, a group of young friends witness supernatural forces and secret government exploits. As they search for answers, the children unravel a series of extraordinary mysteries.”

Season 5 is also set to be a bittersweet one for fans who have followed the weird tales taking place in fictional Hawkins, Indiana. Why? Because it’ll the last time they get to see the town, Eleven, or any of her friends again.

One of the things fans have come to expect from the show is the time jumps: it could be several months or it could be a few years. We left off season 4 with Joyce and Murray flying over to Russia to rescue Hopper from the Gulag in Kamchatka. One thing’s for sure, the creators and writers want this last hurrah to be epic.
