‘Suits: LA’ First Teaser Features An Element Of Nostalgia

The court is back in session ladies and gentlemen, or at least it will be soon, so mark your calendars, pop your popcorns, and get ready for another round of thrilling court cases and nail-biting legal drama. Ahead of its premiere in February next year, ‘Suits: LA’ already has a teaser.

Fans may not have gotten a ‘Suits’ continuation like they wanted, but ‘Suits: LA’ is not so far behind. I feel like they’re promising fans that they won’t veer too far off from the original by setting the teaser to the original theme song, ‘Greenback Boogie.’

Even though it’s just a short little thing that did nothing to show us any glimpses of drama, it still shows us, for the very first time, Stephen Amell, Josh McDermitt, and Lex Scott in character as the three leading men are seen across beautiful LA locations.

In case fans don’t think that they’ll be getting the full ‘Suits’ experience with this spinoff, remember that it is still helmed by the creator Aaron Korsh, who serves not only as the executive producer but as the scriptwriter as well.

This spinoff follows Stephen Amell’s Ted Black, who, following a stint as a New York prosecutor, has chosen to move to LA to reinvent himself. There, he joins forces with an old pal to build a law firm that specializes in criminal and entertainment law.

However, with the company now at crisis point, he’s forced to consider embracing a role he holds in contempt in other to survive in the corporate world. The series also stars Bryan Greenberg, Troy Winbush, and Alice Lee.

This Original ‘Suits’ Star Will Return In A Multi-episode Arc

According to Deadline, fans are in for a treat in this first season of the NBC legal drama as Gabriel Macht’s Harvey Specter is set to return. Yes, you heard me: the one and only Harvey Specter.

And it’s also not going to be one of those blink and you’ll miss him cameo moments. No, he’s sticking around for three whole episodes according to Deadline.

In a short clip shared with fans on Instagram, we see Macht showing off Harvey’s monogrammed shirt sleeve before stepping into designer shoes.

“When an old friend is in need…it’s time to take care of things and make those very ‘things’ right.”
Since Harvey also did a stint in New York as well, we can already guess who the old friend might be.
