The Canadian romantic drama, inspired by the book series from best-selling author Robyn Carr, will be back in 2026 with 10 new episodes.

The series achieved strong ratings this year and saw an increase in total viewers compared to last year-the May 28 episode reaching a record high in Live + Same Day total viewers.

It’s the most streamed show on The CW app and recently experienced a significant boost in viewership after it became available for streaming on Netflix.

In other developments at the end of the season, Maggie’s ongoing struggle to determine her future career path was finally resolved.

How Did The Show Experience Such Growth?

You might wonder how; after assisting in the removal of Edna Cranebear’s (Andrea Menard) tumor, Maggie came to the conclusion that her true desire is to get licensed in Canada.

This way, she can establish a clinic and support the local community. Since she and Cal had somewhat paused their romantic relationship while she figured out what she wanted in life, they are now ready to move ahead.

However, there is still the issue of her marriage to Liam! “Some discussions will need to take place,” Kohan mentioned to the team at Swoon; “Rebuilding trust will be essential, as that’s a significant detail to overlook!”

Naturally, the challenging phase begins now as we anticipate the arrival of Season 4. There’s no exact release date announced yet, just a commitment that the episodes will be available sometime in 2026.
