Fugitives On The Run With A Child
The characters known as “Tiva” are on the run, unable to resist the connection they share, as showcased in a new full-length preview for NCIS: Tony & Ziva.
This 10-episode spinoff series sees the return of Tony DiNozzo (Michael Weatherly) and Ziva David (Cote de Pablo) reprising their beloved roles from NCIS, both of whom previously left the original series.
De Pablo stepped away as a series regular during Season 11 but made a surprising comeback in the Season 16 finale, revealing that her character was alive, contrary to earlier reports.
She later had an off-screen reunion with Tony who exited in Season 13 — along with their daughter, Tali (Isla Gie), in Paris.
Viewers of the mothership show NCIS had long speculated that Tony and Ziva had been having a secret romance.

Weatherly And DePablo Are Excited
“We are extremely thrilled to finally reveal the next chapter of Tony and Ziva to the amazing fans worldwide who always believed this day would arrive,” Weatherly and de Pablo stated.
“Coming back to these roles together on screen after over ten years has been an unforgettable experience filled with deception, espionage, peril, passion…..and autonomous murder vehicles. (Don’t worry, that last part will be explained soon)-this is one crazy adventure you won’t want to miss, and as they say in Paris: Hold on tight!”
A full-length trailer was released on July 24, providing a first glimpse at Tony and Ziva’s tumultuous relationship (including a passionate love scene!), and the new danger facing their family.

The upcoming chapter in the NCIS series will debut with its first three episodes on Thursday, September 4, on Paramount+, then released weekly on Thursdays until the season finale on October 23.
The new show “continues after Ziva’s presumed death when Tony left the NCIS team to raise their daughter,” according to the official description.
“Years later, Ziva was found alive, prompting her to undertake one last mission with NCIS before reuniting with Tony and their daughter in Paris.
Since then – and where we catch up with them in NCIS: Tony & Ziva – Tony and Ziva have been co-parenting their daughter, Tali.
When Tony’s security firm is attacked, they must flee across Europe, uncover who is pursuing them, and perhaps learn to trust each other again to achieve their unique happy ending.
Who Are The Stars, And Will There Be Crossovers?
Additional cast members are Lara Rossi as Sophie, Tali’s SAS-trained nanny; Amita Suman as Claudette, the Chief Technical Officer at Tony’s company.
Also, Maximilian Osinski as Boris, a Russian ex-pat and computer hacker; James D’Arcy as Henry, a high-ranking Interpol official; Nassima Benchicou as Martine; Julian Ovenden as Jonah; and Terence Maynard as Dr. Lang. Although logistics make a collaboration between the two series difficult, a crossover is definitely on the wish list of NCIS executive producer Steven D. Binder.
“I can tell you because of the timeline — we are on a network production schedule and they are on a streaming much longer term. Dates aren’t necessarily set yet, production dates — it was very difficult for us to do something like that where we were able to set something up for Tony & Ziva.”
