When Are Your Favorite TV Shows Returning After Holiday Hiatus? Here’s A Complete List Of Mid-Season PremieresThe holidays are a time when regular television shows go on hiatus, as families and loved ones gather to watch Christmas classics and enjoy other festive fun.

Still, it’ll only be mere weeks before the ‘most wonderful time of the year’ has passed, so here’s a complete list of premiere dates for all your favorite television shows.

Mid-Season TV Premieres – Early January 2025

No need for the January blues when there are so many mid-season premieres in early January 2025! Animal Control’s Season 3 premiere takes place on Thursday, January 2 at 9 p.m. ET on Fox, while over at NBC, Happy’s Place returns on Friday, January 3, at 8:30 p.m. ET, followed by Lopez vs. Lopez at 8:30 p.m. ET.

A new week will start off with a bang on NBC, come Monday, January 6 when Brilliant Minds returns at 10 p.m. ET. The network also has The Irrational starting up again on Tuesday, January 7 at 10 p.m. ET.

Speaking of January 7, ABC has a big night with the Season 3 premiere of Will Trent at 8 p.m. ET, and the return of High Potential at 9 p.m. ET. The Season 7 premiere of The Rookie also takes place that night at 10 p.m. ET.

Come Wednesday, January 8 the Chicago One franchise returns to NBC, with Chicago Med, Chicago Fire, and Chicago PD, all airing new shows, back-to-back, starting at 8 p.m. ET. ABC’s Abbott Elementary is also off holiday hiatus with a new episode on 8:30 p.m. ET.

Mid-Season TV Premieres – Later In January 2025

NBC is set for some returning shows on Tuesday, January 14, with St. Denis Medical starting at 8 p.m. ET and then Night Court at 8:30 p.m. ET. Thursday, January 16 will also be a major primetime event for NBC, as Law & Order airs a new episode at 8 p.m. ET, followed by Law & Order: SVU at 9 p.m. ET, and then Found at 10 p.m. ET.

Fox will be airing new shows of 9-1-1: Lone Star on Monday, January 20 at 8 p.m. ET, and then Rescue: HI-Surf at 9 p.m. ET.

CBS gets into the game on Monday, January 27 when The Neighborhood returns at 8 p.m. ET, followed by Poppa’s House at 8:30 p.m. ET, NCIS at 9 p.m. ET, and then NCIS: Origins at 10 p.m. ET.

CBS also has a big night on Tuesday, January 28, as their FBI franchise starts back up. FBI is set for new episodes at 8 p.m. ET, followed by FBI: International at 9 p.m. ET, and then FBI: Most Wanted at 10 p.m. ET.

On Thursday, January 30, CBS rolls out another night of entirely new episodes for some of their popular shows. Things kick off with Georgie & Mandy’s First Marriage at 8 p.m. ET, then Ghosts at 8:30 p.m. ET, Matlock at 9 p.m. ET, and Elsbeth at 10 pm.

Finally, Friday, January 31 will have CBS airing NCIS: Sydney Season 2 premiere at 8 p.m. ET, followed by new episodes of Fire Country at 9 p.m. ET, and a new S.W.A.T. at 10 p.m. ET.

Mid-Season TV Premieres – February & March 2025

CW will present All American’s Season 7 sneak peek at 8 p.m. on Wednesday, January 29, and then on Monday, February 3, fans can expect the Season 7 premiere at 8 p.m. ET. The network will then broadcast the Season 2 premiere of Wild Cards on Wednesday, February 5 at 8 p.m. ET.

Tracker fans will be excited to learn they’ll get to see Colter Shaw at it once again in new episodes come Sunday, February 16 at 8 p.m. ET, and The Equalizer will also debut new shows that night on CBS, starting at 10 p.m.

Lastly, Thursday, March 6 will have fans of ABC shows hopping, as 9-1-1 returns with new episodes at 8 p.m. ET, followed by Doctor Odyssey at 9 p.m. ET, and then Grey’s Anatomy at 10 p.m. ET.
