Yellowstone: 2024 Aims To Tap This Female Lead

When the second half ofYellowstone’s” fifth season drops, fans will have to say goodbye to one of the biggest shows on television. But this injury is not a fatal one, because we’ve got prequels and spinoffs to look forward to, and there’s a number of our beloved characters reportedly carrying on to the spinoffs.

The spinoff on everybody’s mind, at the moment at least, is the potential Matthew McConaughey-led “Yellowstone: 2024.” And we believe there’s just been a bit of good news on that head.

Yellowstone Spoilers – Michelle Pfeiffer Reportedly In Talks To Play The Female Lead In “Yellowstone: 2024”

As “Yellowstone” officially draws to an end with the most intense scenario anyone can imagine – imagine a civil war between the Duttons, one that can even see Kevin Costner‘s John Dutton impeached as their cattles risk catching a sweeping wildlife illness – Taylor Sheridan is already working harder than an ant to bring fans the much-anticipated spinoffs.

Yellowstone: 2024 Aims To Tap This Female Lead

In early February, the Hollywood insider newsletter Puck revealed that several “Yellowstone” stars are in talks to return in the in-development follow-up series.

These stars are reportedly Kelly Reilly (Beth Dutton), Cole Hauser (Rip Wheeler), and Luke Grimes (Kayce Dutton).

While it’s been suspected that the potential McConaughey-led spinoff will feature some old faces, this is the first time we’ve had some tangible facts confirming that.

We feel it’s necessary to mention that McConaughey is not dead-set on playing the lead character or even appearing on the TV show at all, since there’s yet to be a script.

Nevertheless, Michelle Pfeiffer is equally being considered to play the female lead.

In one of his chats with The Hollywood Reporter, series creator Taylor Sheridan hinted that the upcoming spinoff may well take place in a different location.

“There are lots of places where a way of life that existed for 150 years is slamming against a new way of life, but the challenges are completely different,” Sheridan told THR. “There are a lot of places you can tell this story.”

Meanwhile, the second part of “Yellowstone” will premiere in Nov. 2024.
