“Yellowstone” Finds A Home At CBS

As you already know, or might have guessed, production on “Yellowstone” has halted due to the ongoing WGA and SAG-AFTRA strike. But all’s not gloom and doom, as fans can get to kick back and catch up on old episodes, and there’s one more place available to enjoy the epic western show.

Missing out on some “Yellowstone” episodes or just looking forward to revisiting some of the good old scenes? Then this news is def for you.

CBS recently announced that the formerly Kevin Costner-led series will be making its way into broadcast TV this fall and will be taking a key time slot at the network.

After airing exclusively on the Paramount Network cable channel, the series, which is now also available to stream on NBCUniversal’s Peacock, will be airing Sundays at 9 p.m. ET/PT. Even though no premiere date has been announced, it is said that it will start its run from the first season.

With no end to the WGA and SAG-AFTRA strike in sight, CBS has decided to acquire new programs to take the spot of scripted shows whose productions have been delayed. In addition to this, they have acquired a number of unscripted shows to keep the audience happy during these uncertain signs.

“SEAL TEAM” is also scheduled to return to the network after getting shifted to Paramount+ two years ago. Its fifth season will air on Thursdays at 10 p.m this fall.

The second half of “Yellowstone’s” season 5 was originally meant to return in the summer of 2023 but has seen delays with production following Costner’s exit as the series’ lead, and of course, the strike.

The western drama’s season five part one continued the hit show’s streak of bringing in record numbers, with 12 million viewers tuning into the season 5 premiere in November 2022.

So it all comes down to this: while you can catch up on earlier episodes, you’d have to wait much longer to complete the series’ fifth season.
