Yellowstone prequel 1883 star snags a new role on Netflix
Taylor Sheridan’s Yellowstone 1883 prequel truly revealed an authentic film set and even more authentic was the role played by Tim McGraw and his real-life wife, Faith Hill. The couple starred as James and Margaret Dutton, ancestors of Kevin Costner’s iconic character of John Dutton.
When 1883’s finale episode aired, fans were truly sad, especially because James and Margaret Dutton’s daughter Isabel May was hit by an arrow and died. However, it seems that Tim is set for more cowboy drama in an upcoming Netflix drama
Tim McGraw cast in bull-riding drama
TVLine reported this week that McGraw is going to ride again in a new drama which, by the look of its synopsis, will be exciting:
In the fierce, competitive world of bull riding, the series follows a megastar champion (played by McGraw) facing a life-or-death crossroads when confronted by the arrival of a fearless young rider whose very existence challenges his ways and unearths secrets that force him to reckon with his past.
No title or premiere details are available for the Netflix drama
Meanwhile, at this stage, Netflix hasn’t revealed a title for the new show, but that won’t stop fans from getting excited. The new show was created by Brandon Camp, who will work alongside series showrunner, Taylor Elmo. Moreover, McGraw is also involved in the show’s production, as an executive producer alongside Camp, Elmore, Brian Kaplan, Tim Staples and more.
While the show is currently untitled, the fact that the 1883 spinoff actor is involved as an actor and executive producer makes it a hit despite the limited details released so far.
