White announced this on Instagram, uploading photos taken while filming at the Four Sixes Ranch this past summer in Texas. There were multiple posts involved, alerting fans that new Yellowstone episodes would be starting on ‘11/10’.

Still, this has many Yellowstone fans wondering about the potential 6666 spinoff. It was announced in February that a spinoff centering around White’s character ranch could take place, as the first modern-day take on the Yellowstone franchise.

Of course, it’s been confirmed that the family patriarch, John Dutton III, will not be participating in Season 5, Part 2. The character’s portrayer, Kevin Costner announced back in June he would not be returning for the final season, with reports revealing the actor had creative differences with Yellowstone’s creator, Taylor Sheridan.

With that being said, could Costner participate in a spinoff?

When asked about a status update after talking with Sheridan, the actor recently told Sirius XM’s The Spotlight with Jessica Shaw, “You know, I don’t fall out of love. I love doing Yellowstone. I wouldn’t mind doing it again if I can find the way to fit [it] into my life the way it did for five years and if I can’t, I’m content with what I did. Would I do it again? I would, but it has to match up with my life.”

In total, Yellowstone has had three spinoffs, prequels, in the form of 1883, 1923, and the soon-to-be-released, 1944. Another series is on the horizon, called The Maddison, starring Kurt Russell, Michelle Pfeiffer, and Patrick J. Adams.
