Yellowstone Spoilers: Season 4 Star Piper Perabo Teases ‘Trouble For Duttons’!

Yellowstone season 4 spoilers hint that Piper Perabo will continue to steal the spotlight as protesting activist Summer Higgins. Thus far, we’ve seen Summer protesting and then getting arrested. And although Kayce (Luke Grimes) took on the challenge of ending that protest, John (Kevin Costner) seemed to empathize enough to bail out Summer.

What does the future hold? Piper told TV Insider that Summer’s presence on the ranch “could spell trouble for the Duttons.” Find out what else Perabo revealed below.

Yellowstone Spoilers – Star Piper Perabo Predicts Danger For Summer

Summer originally headed to Montana to protest the industrial farming of animals. But the actress who plays her, Piper Perabo, revealed that Summer has just begun her activism. Piper spilled some spoilers about what else Summer will tackle this season on Yellowstone.

“When she realizes that this airport is going to be built on this pristine land in the center of Montana, she decides to take that on,” hinted Perabo. But Summer does not realize what that land means to the Duttons. “She doesn’t have any sense of the place that she’s getting involved in,” added the Yellowstone star.

And although Summer understands the issues, she wades into the situation completely uninformed about the Duttons. And that could create problems because the activist has no idea “how dangerous it is to mess with them.” As a result, “it’s going to get really dangerous,” added Perabo.

Summer Higgins Discovers A Brave New World

Offering some spoilers, Piper teased that Yellowstone will reveal more about Summer than her activism. “She doesn’t come from a place like Montana and she has a lot to learn about how the rules are there,” noted Perabo. In upcoming episodes, Summer will discover a world that she “knew nothing about,” added the Yellowstone actress.

At first, Summer might assume that every member of the Dutton family is the same. Wrong. “Not all Duttons are the same. And so some are more appreciative of her sense of fight than others, but each Dutton is kind of trouble in their own right. So even just having one Dutton as your enemy, I don’t think you’re safe,” pointed out Piper.  

But one particular enemy has not even begun to fight. Perabo also promised that Yellowstone viewers can look forward to watching Summer and Beth’s (Kelly Reilly) relationship go “from bad to worse.” However, because the two do share common enemies, the potential exists for the two to team up. In a sneak peek, Piper revealed that a scene involving Summer and Beth will prove “more dangerous than any protest.”
