As a result, Yellowstone lead star Kevin Costner and the TV show’s Twitter account have just teased some new clues about upcoming episodes. Find out what they revealed on social media below!

Yellowstone Star Kevin Costner Teases Season 4 On Instagram

When Yellowstone first debuted, Kevin Costner as John Dutton turned the show into must-watch TV.

Playing the patriarch of the Dutton family, Costner made us care about his desire to protect his ranch land and his family.

And now that we’ve gotten through the first three seasons, Yellowstone gave us a cliffhanger ending for season 3. Who survived the attacks?

Kevin Costner has (sort of) given us the answer in the caption to his new Instagram clip. “I don’t know if you’re ready for this one,” warned Costner. “#everybodypays.” Adding, “@yellowstone Season 4 coming November 7th on @paramountnetwork,” Kevin revealed no more than that single clue.

But for some fans, the “everybody pays” statement combined with the video clip offered enough. We think that retribution for those attacks will play a key role in the season 4 premiere.

Soon after tweeting the season 4 trailer, the Yellowstone Twitter account posted this:

“Like father, like son,” wrote the Yellowstone account.

But the photo rather than the words got fans guessing what it really means!

Given that the season 3 Yellowstone cliffhanger left questions about whether John (Kevin Costner), Beth (Kelly Reilly), and Kayce (Luke Grimes) would survive, that photo definitely offered hope for the future of the Dutton family.

At this point, we do know that Jamie (Wes Bentley) and Rip Wheeler (Cole Hauser) will return for season 4.

So exactly what does that Twitter pic suggest? Fans argued as to the possible implications.

“I think Rip is more like John then Kayce,” responded one Yellowstone fan. “Rip will do whatever it takes to protect the ranch just like John.”

As for Kayce?

The fan pointed out that Kayce’s limits got revealed when “he couldn’t even take Walker to the Train Station!”

But some thought that Kayce could potentially take over for his father, as long as he can use the Dutton patriarch as a role model.

“If Kayce wants to run the ranch, then he will have to become like his father,” pointed out another Yellowstone fan. “If he doesn’t then he won’t survive and neither will the ranch.”

And for those feeling that Kayce gets no love from fans, one Twitter user disagreed.

“Kayce  is the soul of Yellowstone,” contended the fan.
