Yellowstone Season 5 Part 2 Spoilers – Release Date

Contrary to initial reports suggesting that Yellowstone would resume with season 5, episode 9 during the summer of 2023, Deadline has now confirmed a revised release date set for the fall. Specifically, fans can expect the highly awaited episode to premiere in November. There’s no official date yet, so fans must stay tuned for further updates.

According to Deadline, the cast is set to start filming in August. However, the timeline may change because of the ongoing writer’s strike.

“I hope [the writers’ strike] doesn’t have an impact. I know [creator] Taylor Sheridan was writing before the strike was happening,” Piper Perabo said during an interview with Deadline.

“One of the fun things about working on a Sheridan show is that you really don’t know what’s gonna happen. I have no idea what’s happening next, and the whole thing left off on this cliffhanger, so I’m waiting myself,” she added.

Taylor Sheridan previously told Variety that the latest installment consists of 14 episodes, which were divided into two parts. Since eight episodes have already aired, fans may very well see the remaining six episodes this coming fall.

As for the returning cast members, there’s no confirmation yet if Kevin Costner will be leaving the show. It’s been confirmed that season 5 will be the last one, but there’s no news on whether the actor is returning for the final leg of the show.

In a report by Puck News, which was released on May 8, won’t return unless he’s “comfortable with how his John Dutton character is written out of the franchise.” The actor allegedly doesn’t want to get the same fate as Patrick Dempsey and his character Derek Shepherd, who was killed off in the popular drama series, Grey’s Anatomy in 2015.
