Yellowstone spoilers, news, and updates tease that Cole Hauser slammed rumors that he’s being killed off in the next season. The actor said that it’s highly unlikely to happen because he’s the one who’s doing the killing.
“My mom’s told me a couple of them and I said: “Mom, I do the killing. Don’t worry about it,” Hauser said.
Yellowstone follows the story of the Duggons who run a cattle ranch in Montana. John Dutton (Kevin Costner) runs the ranch, while Rip Wheeler (Cole Hauser) serves as his right-hand man. Rip has an on-off romance with Beth Dutton (Kelly Reilly).
Some fans have been wondering if Rip has served his purpose and if he’s getting killed off. The rumors were fuelled by a post made by the show’s official Instagram account. It posted a video where Rip can be seen celebrating his birthday with friends and family. The post was captioned, “something big is coming.”
Yellowstone Spoilers – Cole Hauser’s Take On Rip Wheeler
Hauser loves his character. He enjoys the darkness that he has inside.
“But there’s also, kind of, this real passion and love that he has for Beth and I thought that’s a really good juxtaposition as an actor to be able to play that,” Hauser said.
1923: The Duttons Come to Yellowstone
1923 is set a century before John Dutton III came along. Kevin Costner will take on the role of John Dutton, while Harrison Ford and Helen Mirren will take on the roles of Jacob and Cara Dutton.
The show will reveal what happened during that year and how the Duttons survived the many different struggles that they had to deal with, including the rise of mechanization, and competition for ongoing resources.
In an exclusive interview with Vanity Fair, Ford says that Jabod is the “silverback.”
“He’s responsible for that branch of the family. These are two people with a very strong bond to each other who are facing really complicated circumstances.” Ford said.
As for Mirren, the strength of their family comes from experience. She said they needed to have someone who could make the right decisions as a leader. She also sees Cara as an immigrant. She revealed that she wanted Cara to have an Irish accent instead of an American accent.
“It’s always slightly annoyed me with Westerns that you have all these people speaking with modern American accents when in fact so many of them were fairly recent immigrants,” she explained.
1923 is set to debut on December 18 on Paramount+.
