Yellowstone Spoilers – Bentley Shares Thoughts and Feelings

This week, Wes told fans, “I will miss it, but I will also celebrate it being over. It’s so hot and combustible right now.” Bentley’s character is an attorney who is incredibly involved in politics. He is the son of John Dutton (Kevin Costner) and there is quite a lot of drama that has happened between him and his father and siblings. He could have been referencing the drama on the show or even the drama that has led the show to be canceled.

Taylor Sheridan, the writer and creator of Yellowstone has been involved in plenty of rumors about how he and Costner were feuding over the filming time frame of the show. Costner also had a divorce shock him, so he has been a little busy with his life right now. The rumors claimed that he didn’t want to spend more than one week filming the second half of the fifth season. Of course, Costner’s lawyer has denied that he ever made this statement.

However, not all of the rumors were about Costner. There are some floating around that Sheridan is the one to blame since he got famous and developed “a God complex” as his fame grew. One source opened up and said, “Only Taylor truly knows what is going on. Taylor spent years not being truly appreciated in Hollywood, and now that he’s the top of the heap, there’s definitely some ego to all of this.” Of course, as much as fans wanted Bentley to address the rumors, he said, “You just never know. I have enough experience in this business to know that, even when things are going well.”

He went on to say, Succession is a good example; it’s peaking and ending at the same time. I’ve always been prepared for some version of the show ending or I’m out of it, or Kevin decides to go do other things and he’s out. You just know the business and always expect the craziest thing to happen. And often, it does.”
