Yellowstone Spoilers – Star Ian Bohen Tells Fans To Have Tissues Handy
Ian Bohen, Ryan in Yellowstone, can hardly contain his excitement for the show’s final episodes making a comeback on Paramount+.
In a recent Instagram update, Ian hinted that it’s almost time for the series to kick off again, urging fans to brace themselves for what’s to come.
“Clear your schedule, get those tissues ready, ship the kids off to your sister’s place, we’re about to dive deep into the Wild West,” Ian teased, revealing the premiere date.
While the promo didn’t feature any actual footage, it did showcase the show’s logo engulfed in flames, which seemed symbolic and portending disaster.
Ian’s cryptic message suggests that viewers should prepare for an emotional rollercoaster when the show returns, hinting at possible tragic events, including the demise of John Dutton, Kevin Costner’s character.
Yellowstone Spoilers – John Dutton’s Death Seems To Be Forecast
Fans of Yellowstone should prepare themselves for an emotional ride during the final episodes, especially with the uncertain fate of Kevin Costner’s character, John Dutton.
It seems highly likely that the show will bid farewell to John Dutton with Costner not returning for future seasons.
When Costner initially stepped away from the show, there were reports that he was willing to film a few scenes to give John Dutton a fitting send-off.
However, this decision sparked criticism from some who felt that Costner was only interested in working limited days.
In truth, Costner’s main priority was to ensure that John Dutton’s story arc received a proper conclusion.
Yellowstone Spoilers – Costner Never Returned For The Final Episodes’ Filming
But in the meantime, which filming was set to commence, Costner never returned to complete those final episodes, and in a primetime series it’s not as easy to recast a main character.
It’s obvious that it didn’t happen, since Costner mentioned that he wouldn’t be returning for the last episodes, which recently began filming.
Costner also made it clear that he wouldn’t have any future involvement with the franchise, completely walking away from the show and the character.
This leaves Taylor Sheridan with the task of figuring out how to write Dutton out of the storyline, which likely means his character will have to die.
It seems like this might happen in the premiere of the final part of Season 5. The premiere is set for November 10, 2024, on Paramount+.
