Alyssa Milano Says NO WAY Following Claims She Got Shannen Doherty Fired From Charmed

Here we go again! You know that claim that Alyssa Milano got Shannen Doherty fired from “Charmed” because they were nowhere near being chums?

Alyssa Milano is Saddened Over News She Got Shannen Doherty Fired From “Charmed”

Alyssa Milano is not happy that people won’t move past the drama that got Shannen Doherty fired from “Charmed.”
In its day, “Charmed” was enjoyed by so many people, and even now when it’s moved into the streaming space, it’s still doing good for a show that stopped airing new episodes as far back as 2006.

So we can imagine why Milano isn’t happy that a show that meant so much to so many people is still being tarnished by needless drama.

This Friday, Milano, 51, appeared on Who’s the Boss? panel at MegaCon Orlando and formerly addressed the claims Holly Marie Combs made on Doherty’s podcast in December 2023. The specific claim we’re talking about is the one where she was accused of getting Doherty fired from the hit show.

“I will just say that I’m sad,” Milano said. “I don’t think it’s really that I’m sad for me or for my life or how it does or does not affect my life. I’m the most sad for the fans. I am the most sad that a show that has meant so much to so many people has been tarnished by a toxicity that is still to this day almost a quarter of a century later still happening.”

Milano added: “I’m sad that people can’t move past it. I’m sad that we all can’t just celebrate the success of a show that meant so much to all of us.”

The “Insatiable” star revealed that at the time Doherty was fired from the show in 2001, life was far from being easy for her. “I have worked super hard in my life, in the last 25 years, to heal all of my trauma,” she continued, saying that she’s focused on healing more trauma than the “the trauma that I experienced while shooting [the show].”

She also revealed that she’s come to that point in her life where she also wants to heal other people, as she promised that she’s ready to sit down with Doherty and Combs and address any long-standing issues.

As for the part she played in bringing disquiet to the “Charmed” set at the time, Milano has apologized for it and is now clueless on “how else to fix it.”
