Smitty Smith Takes Action

Beyond the Gates spoilers for Wednesday, October 28, indicate that Samantha Richardson-Smith (Najah Jackson) will have a talk with Smitty, and it sounds like it’ll get heavy.

Samantha is worried about her dad going to prison, so she’ll be vulnerable with her feelings.

After they chat, Smitty will decide to take action and will throw caution to the wind.

As Samantha returns to Fairmont Crest amid Smitty’s legal nightmare, her concerns could push her father toward a dangerous decision.

What kind of bold move will he make, and will this better his legal situation or make it worse?

Super Couple Crumbles

Meanwhile, Jacob and Naomi will spiral.

Naomi is the attorney defending Smitty in this case, while Jacob is the cop who’s leading the investigation.

While they both promised they’d keep their professional lives and marriage separate, work keeps spilling into their personal lives.

As Naomi searches for information that could help clear Smitty’s name, her involvement in the case continues to create tension with Jacob.

Additional teasers suggest Naomi and Jacob will hit a bump in the road.

Could this be the beginning of the end for these two? Only time will tell!

Eva Thomas’ Past Haunts

Across town, Beyond the Gates spoilers for October 28 hint that Leslie Thomas (Trisha Mann-Grant) will want to throw a party, but this will end up triggering some bad memories of the past for the young woman.

Will Izaiah Hawthorne (Lami) step in to help Eva sort all the negativity out?

Elsewhere, Articulettes Tracy Tyler (Maria Howell) and Sharon Winger (Bonita Brisker) will arrive at Fairmont Crest to hear about Anita Dupree’s (Tamara Tunie) big news.

It appears that a new jazz album for the group will be in the works, so how will the ladies react?

As Anita’s exciting career opportunity brings the Articulettes back together, fans could be in for some wonderful musical moments.

Fans will have to tune in to find out.

Annemarie’s Take

I’m really worried about Smitty making a reckless decision when he’s already in so much trouble. I understand that Samantha is frightened, but the last thing her father needs is to make his situation worse!

And what about Naomi and Jacob? I hate seeing their marriage fall apart over this investigation, especially when they’re both just trying to do their jobs.

On a happier note, I’m looking forward to seeing the Articulettes again. I think Anita deserves some good news for a change!
